Will Best Electronics CX40 Joystick rebuild kits work with the Atari 2600 Plus Joystick?

Hello, Just want to ask what cable to use to connect my XBox One S controller to the Atari Gamestation Pro. I know the other end is USB C, what I do not know is the other end that connects to the XBox Controller. Thank you for your help.

Hello - Does anybody still have a copy of the old MESS 0.159? I believe this is the last MESS emulator that plays the Atari 7800. MAME is so confusing for me to configure, so I was thinking of just going back to 2015 version. The problem is, the files on the website has been updated to MAME as well. Appreciate your help. Hello, I was just wondering what version of MESS runs the Atari 7800 console. I'm sure I remember playing Atari 7800 games using MESS before, but after my most recent update, I was surprised to find out that 7800 emulation is not available. Help please. Thank you.

Got mine two days ago. This is an awesome piece of work! When I was a kid I wished that somehow, there is a compilation of the Artworks of all Atari games that came out back in the day. This is it. Just a thought, including maybe some of the Atari catalogs would have been real nice too, but like what I said, this is perfect! Thank you Tim !!!

Is this Atari a Sixer? I had this experience with a Sixer. All I did was to cut a trace on the CD4050 chip and it solved the problem.

You can buy joystick parts from Best Electronics. These are improved parts compared to what we used to get when we buy an Atari 2600. Google "Best Electronics Atari". The webpage is crap, but the service is great. Good Luck!

Hello, I came into an article about an August 2007 raid on suspected modhip seller, importer, installer (apparently) on the internet. My question is, on this forum, there are a lot of exchanges covering modhip installation etc. Are the people doing these reside outside the United States? Are we even allowed to do this in the US? If yes, where do you find the modchips? I am an Atari collector when I joined this forum, and through the years invested on the modern gaming console as well. I am not much of a tech guy, so I ignore any topic which deals with anything that involves soldering skills. It is just out of curiosity that why is modchipping freely discussed and obviously practiced in the US (or not) and why we have the DHS-ICE cracking down on some people? I appreciate any input. Hello, This may not be the right forum to start this discussion, but this is the only place I know where I can find reliable information on some technical issues I had before. My question is related to the Nintendo 64 Game Console. Does anybody know the Part Number of the Sliding Power Switch (On-Off) for this system? I beleive that it is an 8-Pin switch but I'm not sure. I am looking for a NEW part from Mouser.com. I just have to know what is the Part Number. Thank you for your help.

Actually, I just thought that there are springs inside, since I do have another 7800 with the buttons "springing" back up when pressed. It seems that the button assembly for these units are not replaceable. I will try spraying the grooves with compressed air. Thank you for your suggestion.

Is there a way to replace the buttons and springs on the Atari 7800 Console? I was using my console and it seems the buttons are stuck and does not spring back. I opened the console to replace the switches (got spares from mouser.com) under the buttons but they are very functional. The problem seems to be the spring on the buttons. Anybody had this experience? Thanks.
