  1. Sounds really great! I'd like to hear this on my 800 and on my modified XE! Are there any XEX-Files available?
  2. Thanks for sharing, I have never heard about that cool portable 7800! I will add it to my to do list as no. 756, wich will start approx. in the year 2142
  3. Maybe that could help: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/194765-issues-wirh-wireless-controlers/page__hl__+wireless#entry2477198
  4. Did a nice catch last week, it's all out of an old US Army inventory here in Germany. The 800 ist NTSC and M.U.L.E. sounds much better than on PAL one, The 400 is PAL (with 48k upgrade). Not in excellent condition, but both fully working. The 410 is early version (with handle) and the Tigervision cartridges "Springer" and "Matterhorn" are not so common I guess...
  5. Hi, after I haved solved the level according to the attached picture (don't know the number of the level, but it took some time to reach it), I expected the next challenge. But, aaarrghhh! The disk startet and in spite of loading the next level I got the DOS screen... Happend this to anbody else? I have the original ABBUC 5.25' Disk transfered into an ATR and loaded it via SIO2USB. Did some save states with the ABBUC-Freezer. Maybe this configuration caused the problem, or is it a error in the program? By the way, great job! I like this game very much. Tigerduck
  6. Some of my cartridges have a sticker "P" on the backside. That's obviously for "PAL". Never seen a "N"
  7. "Hidden underground rooms"? -Never heard of that! I played it several times to the end, but never realized there is something else out there... Amazing! I have to check it out. Thx for the advice! Tigerduck
  8. That's a good idea! Next number on my project list. It's easy to forget turning them off and batteries discharge without use... I hope you can now enjoy your wireless controllers, I like them especially for playing quiz games sitting on the sofa with many other persons. Tigerduck
  9. The "Game Mate 2" is technically identical, there is now power switch, too. I ment plug in... I have a Harmony Cartridge, everything is possible As far as I know, only the brand differs. Game Mate 2 = ATARI wireless remote controllers. Yes, I can play everything like I'm using the CX 40 Joysticks. Maybe that's an approach... or look at that: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/194513-wireless-joystcks/ Definitly Yes! Good Luck
  10. Believe me, it's only a matter of the order you switch your equipment on! It sounds strange, but it is... I could reproduce all your mentioned errors by switching on and off the joysticks/transceiver by accident. But if I stick to the "right order" there is no problem anymore. -> switch on the transceiver -> switch on right then left joystick (wait 5 seconds for "synchronisation") -> switch on your VCS This works in 99% of all cases. Have you tried this? result? Tigerduck
  11. Acting strange In this case it is normal operation I have a set called "Game Mate 2" and I guess you have the same, there are not many others around... I tried to reproduce the situation and I got the same issues with starmaster. My recommodation is, to turn on the transceiver and both Joysticks (preferably first the right, then the left) first and thereafter your VCS. Everytime you differ from this order, you will experience strange behaviors... Always turn on both Joystick, in spite of only one is needed. If you are equipped with an ATARI 800 XL (or similar) you can observe the unintended changes of the joystick/firebutton values by this little Basic row: 10 ? STICK(0),STRIG(0),STICK(1),STRIG(1):GOTO 10 Ahh, it is so convenient to play right out of the sofa, instead of kneeing in front of the TV...(Damn, I'm getting older!) Tigerduck
  12. Here's the manual for the SMS version in HTML form: Sega Master System Manual Cheers, Simon Thanks, is this version simular to the ATARI?
  13. Really great work done! But for those like me, not that familiar with the game, is there a possibilty to make a game manual? The "story", stages, features, the enemies, tactics and so on... Me and many others(?) would appreciate that. Best regards Tigerduck (metamorphosing into "Space-Harrier-Duck )
  14. I'd never believed that I would work on an 8bit ATARI text program again, but LW brings me back to the eigthies... Great work! Tigerduck
  15. Look here: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-400-800-xl-xe-zenji_5922.html
  16. Late answer, but now with photos I complete Planet Smashers (Pal Version, there is a "P" Sticker at the back of the cartridge), too! The same happend to me, graphic of the last mothership is garbeld. Take a look at my photos.
  17. Today I get special characters like "<" and "=" in the live display, very strange Is it a feature and not a bug, I'm not convinced... Tigerduck (But I still like the game )
  18. Same happend to me, I can not determine exactly when it happend, but same result - 66 lifes left...
  19. Thanks for your answers, learnt something new for today. I totally agree Tigerduck
  20. Hi, Tempest Extreem is really a outstanding game, but I can't understand what it says right at the beginning. Television.....? Could anybody explain? Regards Tigerduck
  21. Hi tjb, check this: ASSAULT FORCE Regards Tigerduck
