Back in the Xmas of '81 or '82 I was lucky enough (I say lucky because of the $250 price tag) to receive an Intellivision for Xmas. I think back how I played countless hours of video games with my friends and it hits me, I can hardly recall a time within this period where I actually played a game with my parents. My mom never showed an interest in this stuff (still doesn't). My dad, I recall him watching us play video games and getting a laugh or two or making suggestions on how to win. The only game I remember him playing was golf for the Intv. I'd try to get him to play me in Baseball but he shrugged me off. I think for him the controllers were too difficult, he'd rather watch my brother and I play. I can also say the same about my friends parents, none of them ever picked up a joystick. My parents may not have played video games but I look back and was glad that they allowed me the opportunity (within limits) to enjoy those systems/games throughout the 80's. Anyone here have parents that enjoyed playing those classic systems from the 80's?

I'm not familiar with Enter Magazine. When was this magazine out? What did it cover? The magazine that I would love to find in a .pdf or cbz file is Electronic Games from the early 80's. Does anyone have or know of any issues of that magazine scanned? I see these on Ebay listed around $40+ ouch. This may be off topic but if your into comics on DVD check out this site http://www.gitcorp.com/group.asp?grp=14 I'm going to keep searching the web for more sites that carry complete scanned video game magazines and I will post what I find. Does anyone know if there is a website that contains scanned images of old videogame or computer magazines? It would be cool to find a place where someone may have scanned the entire magazine in pdf format. Is there such a site(s) out there? Thanks

The prices that you list is in the ballpark of what I was guessing. Your right on as far as $50 for having every game installed on the SD card known to the Intellivison system as that is how much it did cost. Thanks

Any ideas as to what this collection would fetch someday on Ebay if I were to try to sell it? (1) original Intellivision system with box and manuals. Includes poker&blackjack still sealed. (1) Intellivoice with box and manuals (1) Intellivison II with box and manuals (1) ECS computer used once in box with manuals never taken out of plastic. I also have the free programming guide you received if you sent away for it by sending in the registration card. I also have the original registration card. (1) System changer with box and manuals used very little. (1) Intellivision music synthesizer in box no manual. Box is good but does have a little writing on it. (1) Intellivision Cuttle Cart 3 with every known Intellivision rom loaded on the MicroSD card. All of the above work perfectly and are in great physical condition. It took me quite some time to get this collection. I'm just curious what you guys think this could be worth. Thanks

A general question to everone. Earlier today, I did a buy it now on Ebay for a Mattel ECS computer in box "potentially" never opened for $100. Does this seem like a good deal if it truly has never been pened? Supposedly it came from an estate sale. I normally don't look on Ebay for this but just happened to see it today as I must have caught it as it got listed. Give me some opinions. Thanks
