How did Shirleyswapshop get this Pepsi Invaders
Atari2600Lives replied to taxman's topic in Auction Central
I would not mind putting in a serious offer but I really need more assurance it is real. This should be fairly easy to fake. I am not syaing the seller would do that but what if it was done to him ? -
You mean like the complete one i snatched up at Atari2600.com today for $235? Nice ... I was on there 2 nights ago and it was not there, aaarrgggg! well good for you in either case

hey no downplayin my sale now. Its extremely rare.........hard to find.......rarer than Quadrun and much more fun! Let's see, I've had about 10 Quadrun's in the last 9 years and 20+ RT1's, yep must be rarer than Quadrun. LOL For me: --------- CIB - Rescue Terra I - $125.00 CIB - Quadrun - $700.00 Noobs - Priceless well , lucky for me I got a Quadrun in mint condition for $20.00 a while back, so I guess my inflated RT1 purchase evens out (not really but I don't care, I needed it!)

Sorry about all this stuff. I sent a Private message via forum , I am interested in purchaisng some of your collection (or all of it). I am getting ready to purchase another collection and would like to see what you have first , but time is of the essence. thanks -
Ok old friends, after a very long hiatus (a few years?), I am back in full force. I moved into a new house and set up a console game station that allows me to play everything from my Xbox 360 to my beloved Atari 2600 and everything in between. I even have a wireless headset sound system set up to not bother other people in the room. here is a pic I also picked up a sealed 1980 (never opened ) 2600. This really got me back into the hobby! last but not least, hopefully I will be attending my first CGE in Vegas this year!

Purchased a 7800, Then purchased more 2600 games
Atari2600Lives replied to ussexplorer's topic in Atari 7800
When your living the moment and not reflecting on nostalgia or just how good a game held up against time (adventure, Pitfall, kaboom). Then you go for the btter grpahics hands down. If you had a 7800 system in the mid 80s you would of purchased 7800 games for it not 2600 games. It's the reason I abandon my Intellivision and Atari 2600 systems for the NES in 1989, gave all the stuff away and then lived to regret it. But as you can see from my signature I am now paying for my sins -
Ok , this is embarassing but I had never, before today, played Atari 2600 Ms Pac man. There was always some circumstance in the way. I never owned it as a kid and when I would go to a buddies house there was always something else we were playing. I got the game as a collector but it was a sealed copy. I never had the guts to open it. Well this morning I decided to finally open it and plug it in....holy smokes! I had read everywhere that it was much better than the 2600 Pac Man but my goodness this is like a quantum leap better! To think I missed out on some years of fun gaming with it but I guess I can catch up now! Is there anyone out there that has a sealed game they have never played in any form?
