  1. I want to thank everyone for helping out. Games I found today that were listed in this thread ( I got a bunch more that were not listed in this thread ). SNES Mario Kart Super mario World Genesis Mutant League Football Castlevania Bloodlines Gauntlet4 Fatal Rewind I spent most of the time this afternoon playing Gauntlet 4 with my son. (had a blast). Also picked up Golden Axe (not in this thread)and got very far into the game (this port is almost identical to the arcade stand up great, great port ). Played a bit of Mutant league football and it looks like a lot of fun as well. The Genesis has not ceased to amaze me since I got into it recently. I had the Sonics and Donkey Country and the Marios already. thanks again happy gaming
  2. I need some help here. can someone provide me their opinion on the top ten must have games for the Sega Genesis, NES and SNES? Thanks! I am going to a local game stop that has a ton of these titles and I would like some guidance on what to pick up. List as many as you want form each system.
  3. Anyone know if there is a site still keeping track of "All your base findings" in the wild?
  4. Josh, I'll trade you an X-box with a bunch of games for it. let me know.
  5. I'll trade you a barely used (practically new) X-box with a bunch of games for it.....let me know.
  6. Witchfynde- Your right I would of been bummed!
  7. The Star Trek one needs music but it's cool that there are so many references I had never heard of (man I thought I was on top of this!). thanks a lot guys this post turned into to something REALLY fun.
  8. Cuckpa- The tourist guy is defintely that unless it's lemmi himnself (that would be funnier)...let me click on star trek....
  9. they're all good , for originality the smurf one is hard to beat. The tourist one was a lot of work though. This is not really the meaning of all this! But the videos are so funny.....
  10. Mega....guys..... the tourist guy rules! Dig Dug...of course is the reference.
  11. dude find the star trek link! Lemmi I officialy bow to you as the undisputed overlord of ZeroWing. The tourist guy one is genius....your post got better as they went along...wow! Who is tourist guy? The Oswald, Star wars, Matrix and Pulp Fiction stuff was the best hands down...(BTW this totally is a against "our secret code"...we are deviating into cool wierd stuff but does it uphold the cause?) I have to look at it again for the the Atari reference.
  12. Lemmi- ROTFL!!!!! that was awesome...Oh man!!!!!!!! Megaman click on his second link post please..............................!!!!!!!!!
  13. Lemmi- you actually got me there...that is so wierd it's going to freak some people out into not undertsanding what this is all about....I am not a ZEroW rookie but that was cool and wierd:-)
  14. whatever you might think the interest level on the subject is ....I have never posted anything in 8 years of forum web surfing that got 3 responses so quick....the controversial part is 99% of everyone reading this post has no idea what we're talking about. Atari 2600 forum is my hangout and I consider you some of my friends. I posted it because it definitely has something to do with retro gaming. if no one cares this post will quickly go away to the bottom of the list. No harm no foul
  15. Anyone here understand? Is this still alive on the net?
  16. mstulir- I checked your website out for the first time and added it to my favorites. Great site and I look forward to visiting and reading from now on!
  17. Cromozine...provide the "lot" number and I will let you know what I think.
  18. I liked the Activision product. Ok , so the vine looked a bit different in Pitfall. I bought 11 of these and gave away 9. Everyone loved the nostalgic rush. We're not talking a Play Staition 2 here , we're talking about a $17.99 product that plays old video games in a completely battery operated fashion. Look at the positives when you review the product on your site not only the negatives. it seems that reviews on gaming products lately are 75% of the text being negative and 25% of the text being the positives.
  19. Again the glass half full or half empty? If 3 games are a hard sell that means 7 games are not.
  20. Everyone's opinion definitely counts in this thread but let's look at the positives shall we? It's a freaking miracle that any large manufacturer is actually going to produce a product that the retro community will actually appreciate. let's be thankful that it's even coming out before we start trying to rip it and make it perfect. I think , even in it's current form, that it will be a must have product for most retro gamers. The price is going to be great. The joystick as the actual controller is brilliant. It's an actual commercial Atari 2600 product in the year 2002! Think about the gift possibilities to relatives or co workers who had fond memories of the Atari 2600 but do not have the time or money to pursue a hobby like we do. Of course if everyone on this forum got together with infograme's resources we could make a better product...it's called intellectual resources...we have it because we live and breathe this stuff. let's not knock it just yet and let's enjoy it for what it is.
  21. I have bitched for a while now that I only find genesis stuff at the local thrifts...you know I should of just shut up and played. I plugged in the AV cable with the Genesis and the difference blew me away (compared to the RF switch). Games that really, really rock so far Sonic , Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic 3D. Also played Alladin, X-Men2, Krusty the Clown...the system was way ahead of it's time . If you find a Genesis buy it you won't regret it. Anyone know a good rarity listing of Sega genesis games?
