  1. imagine being so fragile you can't handle other people's opinions so you insult and ignore people so they can't respond. Pathetic.
  2. Own identity? Those click bait sites are a dime a dozen and it's just one of many. Saying Cracked was a Mad rip off is like saying Spider-man is a Superman ripoff.
  3. No sir, this is the magazine I'm talking about: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoGames_%26_Computer_Entertainment I'm literally holding my original, tattered copy of the Feburary 1990 issue with Arnie Katz listed as computer entertainment editor, Bill Kunkel as computer entertainment assistant editor and Joyce Worely as news editor. Again, Electronic Games was rebooted a few years after the debut of VG&CE in 1992 and was done with Katz, Kunkel and Worley also: https://www.retromags.com/magazines/usa/electronic-games-1992/electronic-games-lc2-issue-1/ You seem to be getting VG&CE confused with this magazine, Computer Entertainment: https://www.retromags.com/publications/united-states/computer-entertainment/ Hope this clears things up!
  4. They did relaunch it in 1988 with Arnie Katz, Joyce Worley and Bill Kunkel contributing. It lasted until 1993 when it was renamed "Video Games-the ultimate gaming magazine". The Electronic Games reboot in the early 90's was done by a different publisher. The u-force cover was my first issue! I wore that thing out reading it from cover to cover. I agree it was the best mag of the early 80's, it had more substance than EGM and Gamepro at the time which seemed to be geared towards little kids. EGM had more exciting layouts but I learned so much about video game history from stuff like the game doctor columns and their feature stories. By the 16-bit era I had switched to EGM and Game Fan but VG&CE was always my favorite.
  5. I started the video when it begins to talk about the station with the video music. I thought this was pretty interesting and wanted to share!
  6. Here is some label artwork I am currently working on for this rad game:
  7. There is a mode button on the right, which is used to switch back to 3 button mode for a handful of games that are not compatible (Ms. Pac-man, Golden Axe 2 etc...) and some games use the mode button as an additional "action" button (Beyond Oasis, Fatal Fury 2, Etc...). Sounds like you are thinking of the Sega Saturn controller, which had 2 shoulder buttons used solely for game play.
  8. Because they offer discounts on steam codes that are different than what you would get directly from steam. For example I bought Mortal Kombat xl for $8.99 Monday from bundle stars, yet the game is still full price on the steam store.
  9. But it's ok for you to come into the thread just to bash the topic at hand? How did you expect people to react? "Mitkraft doesn't like readin' about the weed, shut the thread down boys!" To the topic at hand, I've always found vector games to the most visually stimulating "under the influence". So it's cool that "vectorgamer" started this thread.
  10. Rival Schools takes their name from the 90's capcom 3d fighting game. Their first album is named "United By Fate", which is also the subtitle of the video game. Great stuff if you like heavier alt rock. Then there is a indie rock band called up up down down left right left right b a start who have an album called "Worst Band Name Ever"
  11. Whoa dave! is a fun little Joust /Mario Bros. style game with cool old school style graphics. It tends to go on sale for super cheap, I got it for 3ds and steam for like a dollar each.
  12. Maybe you should actually watch the video before you scold someone because of it's content.
  13. Were you unimpressed with the original Megatron toy because it could not shoot real bullets? Also, that penguin is a solid piece that ya know, doesn't not transform into an articulated robot. Segatron's fusion cannon does seem to be some sort of usb drive so it may have some sort of functionality. Either way, IT'S A MEGA DRIVE THAT TRANSFORMS INTO MEGATRON FER CRYIN OUT LOUD! Who cares if it plays games or not?
