I have a similar mame cabinet. I wired up the x-arcade diy kit in mine. I am running coin ops on a modded xbox. It is a great setup. Much better than when I had mame running on a pc in there. You may want to look into that. Since you had on a KISS shirt and had KISS ducks in your game room I am now a subscriber to your youtube channel.

I agree with you there. The pink box is a little weak unless that is the Susan G Komen edition.

The only major problem I have with the graphics is that the bad guys don't have hats. That just looks like some lazy programming to me on whoever did the sega version. The version plays ok. It is harder than the arcade version though. I have an elevator action arcade game and the bad guys in this version are more ruthless right off the bat.

I would like a CIB one as well. You need to open up a factory to keep up with demand on this one.

Put me down for a manual and box. I also vote for putting Charlton Heston on the cover as Moses.

You can play the rom of the sg-1000 game this was ported from. Should be the same game.

I heard about that kickstarter the other day. I was suprised I didn't hear anything about it till the very end. They really messed up not getting the word out on it early. I would have put some money down, but there is no point now. Maybe they will start it up again later.

I would actually prefer new homebrew games being released using plastic cases if they were readily available like this instead of original style cardboard boxes. The boxes are usually so delicate that you can't really store the game in there if you plan to play it. The printing and cutting is also expensive. So you have this nice looking box that you have to store somewhere else and never use. A plastic case like a Genesis one can be used for years and still look pretty new.

It seems like a bad idea to me to put a second cart up for sale at the same time. They will probably both sell for less than they would have if spaced out.

You can only re-release the games if the second editions are even more limited than the first runs. Then they can all be put on ebay for thousands of dollars! But yeah, I would love to be able to get homebrews/repros for $25-$35 a cart. Just the loose cart to keep the prices down. The Atarimax SD cart makes a lot of sense for that. I have thought about picking one up.

Since you asked... I don't like the way this reads "Navigate unforgiving terrain from at least 5 different environments in your relentless". The At least part bugs me. Maybe something like "Explore 5 different lands in your relentless quest..." or "Explore dark caverns, icy mountains, etc." Whatever the environments are. But that is just me being picky. I can't wait for this game to come out!

I say go for a cross shaped cart and have Halloween proto 1, 2, TCM normal, and TCM proto on there.

I have started listening to "The Show" podcast. They have a weekly Gamer's Corner episode. They cover modern and some retro stuff. It is just a good podcast overall. I have had a link in my signature for awhile because I like it that much.

I just got my modded xbox back and it is an awesome setup! It now has a 80gb drive and coinops4 on there. It is a really nice UI for running emulators. Mikeosoft did a great job. Fast turn around, and he doesn't charge much. Highly recommended!
