UberArcade replied to rockman_x_2002's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
Any chance of this making it on a real C64 cart? -
Looks awesome. PM+ rocks!

Discounted ColecoVision Services, I may be closing shop soon
UberArcade replied to Yurkie's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I bought my ColecoVision from Todd. It is awesome! Any chance you will be modding any other systems? I would love to have some clean A/V outputs on other classic systems. -
Sign me up!

Although it was a Genesis game I think "Quackshot" is fitting.

I paid for a copy of Ature from him a month or so ago. I have been wondering what happened to him as well.

Soul Calibur hooked up to a vga monitor! Ready to Rumble, Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, VF 3, Crazy Taxi, Tony Hawk, Sega GT, Sega Rally, Daytona USA, ... Basically a lot of good fighting and driving games on there. Always look for the ones that support vga because it makes a huge difference.

Sega Master System games and memories..
UberArcade replied to Austin's topic in Classic Console Discussion
On those old school map less dungeons always go right. It works. I agree with the Ninja. It is so hard that I always want to play it just one more time. Alien Syndrome was a cool game. The SMS is also one of the few places you can play a good port of Rastan and Vigilante. -
Sega Master System games and memories..
UberArcade replied to Austin's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I had a Master System before the NES and I thought it was awesome. I remember the games being expensive and I never had that many as a kid. I played the heck out of hang on / astro warrior that came with it. Rambo was good but really hard. Shinobi and Thunder Blade were excellent arcade ports. All time favorite would have to be Phantasy Star. I think I spent a whole summer playing that game. Finally beat it. Still my favorite 8 bit rpg. Final Fantasy sucks in comparison. :-) -
Shao Lin's Road (Kicker) would make a good 7800 game. Awesome game, limited number of stages, not many home versions. C64 Version

Introducing: Neo Geo Consolized MVS - On Sale Now
UberArcade replied to Christoph's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Does the board not get too hot in a wood case without vents? Unless there are some on the bottom. -
Any idea when these will be ready to ship? Looking forward to playing it. Thanks

I have a few of Bob's 7800 games and they are cool. These homebrews are the main reason I got on AtariAge. I usually stay away from forums because of the drama. It never fails. I would like to see him release many more games, but if there is too much drama in creating homebrew games these days I understand him moving on. If it isn't fun doing the work then spend your time doing something else. Life is too short, and I am sure it isn't easy writing games for an old Atari system. But if you do get back into the hobby put me down for some carts of your next project.

I am interested in a cart.

Looks Great!

Looks like a cool game. Just downloaded it. I'll give you some feedback after I play it awhile.

I am becoming addicted to buying homebrew games. Somebody help!

Who likes game like the way of exploding fist?
UberArcade replied to youki's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I love these kinds of games. I think it would be a great addition to the ColecoVision. -
Most older arcade games won't save scores when powered off. If it did there would probably be a battery holder on the motherboard with something like two AA batteries on there. I bet Vulgus doesn't have any.

Another trick for games without free play is to run a wire from the coin switch to the 2 player start button. Press 2P to coin it, 1P to start your game. Press 2P twice to coin and start a 2P game. Learned this from Bob Roberts website.

Prices sound fair to me. I can send in a ballblazer cart to sacrifice. :-)

I look forward to getting my cart in the mail. Thanks for making new games for the 7800. I get more excited about homebrews than new PS3 games these days. Is anybody making a manual to go along with the game? If you are making a box may as well complete the package.

I agree with Groovy, I would rather see something like Way of the Exploding Fist or IK+. SFII on 7800 would suck in every way regardless of if it was possible. Interesting topic for conversation though.
