I could have never imagined that in 2016 I'd be willing to pay $30 for a cartridge with just Space Invaders on it, but then I played the homebrew port for the 7800. It looks and plays exactly like Space Invaders on the arcade cabinet I used to own, which is really making me miss my old arcade machine. But hey, $30 is a LOT cheaper than buying a new arcade cab.

I LOVE that my girlfriend keeps up with (and occasionally beats) me at Dr. Mario... she is a keeper.

I finally bought a Light Sixer after missing my old Atari 2600 for the last year. Brought it home, hooked it up, and found that it plays normally for 20 to 30 seconds then the screen goes static. Bad power supply?

Got a GoPro Hero 4 Black in - cost a bit and it's really shaky holding it in my hand, but man does the video look good on it. Hopefully we'll have it on the hexacopter and getting video soon here.

I love NES, SNES and Genesis music but I rarely have the energy to play through even a 40 minute game these days. Think I'm burned out beyond burned out.

I'm doing something with diodes later tonight, they're my favorite electronic component. The little glass bead with the wire inside, what does it do? How does it work? The 4-yr old in me is fascinated still to this day!
