I couldn't possibly give up on this place.
I still post less though.

First of all, I'm not looking to make a full time job out of the following:
-Being in a band
-Making beer
-Restoring a car
That's not why I listed those things. Those have to do with hobbies. I may never sell beer but I want to make it at least. You never know if you're good at anything unless you try.
I didn't expect you to understand the wrestling thing. Most people are usually ignorant of wrestling as a whole regardless.
I appreciate the comment but it's not quite what I was looking for in terms of advice.

I haven't had anything to drink since Monday. It's not a bad start but I still wonder about why I can't find a medium where I can still enjoy beer but at the same time, have better control over it.
It hurts a bit because there's a social gathering at a bar later and I really want to go. However, I'm not sure if it's a good idea at all. I like to see those friends but on the other hand, I can't afford to start up again on drinking. I may just be able to do it as long as I maintain some kind of control.

Thanks for replying folks. I thought I was the only one who noticed all of this.
It's still great to see more people getting into Atari. That's the upside to all the stupid questions. If people stick around after those questions are answered, then you know you've hooked them for life.

Exactly! We had a good candidate but it didn't work out. That's all I can say.
All we can do is keep looking and work with who we've got.
-
Does that mean you'll still post here though? Some breakups between AA members ended badly in the past.

Good point. I haven't had any since Sunday and I like the idea that my mind is clearer. I do plan to have a few on Fri and Sat with friends to celebrate the end of the semester in college. I have an algebra exam later tonight so wish me luck.

I'm great. How about you?
-
Do you use Z26 or any other 2600 emulators? If so, have you tried Strat-O-Gems 2600? It's pretty addictive in my opinion and a good way to kill time. Just a thought.
-
Thanks for explaining all that. I don't feel compelled to "cheat" but I think that this game would be a great way to kill a boring afternoon.
I'm a closet fan of puzzle games though. Tetris and Dr.Mario are two of my favorites, though I'm better at Dr.Mario.
-
Thanks for the tip.
By the way, checked out Strat-O-Gems earlier. It is addictive but I got the hang of how it plays, etc. In Z26, pushing the up button will change the color combination so that is a great way to compensate for the inability to rotate the pieces like in Tetris and other puzzle games.
I think it's going to be a worthy purchase as well.

I am looking for more time to spend with my games now that the Fall semester for the college I'm attending is over after next week.

Nope.
Honestly, I don't fully understand what it is.
-
I got a 94 on my midterm. I'm quite relieved. The instructor said that the average of the whole class was quite high as well.
-
Right now, we're working on slopes I believe.
-
Did you just file a patent for this or something?

Newt Gingrich is a tumor.
Bush deserves nothing but CONTEMPT and that's what he gets for making stupid choices.

Chocolate shakes are high in calories.
I gotta cut back on the coffee already though. I get too wired.
-
3 cups and I'm too wired.
I don't know how many calories in tea. I drink my coffee black.

It does piss me off in some areas.
The Crash events start out as fun and quickly become an exercise in futility as I can't seem to score as many points as I'd like sometimes.
But honestly, I can't think of much else to complain about. I liked Burnout 3, though I only played an in-store demo.
-
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to complete an education. I started in Jan of 2003 and I've been hammering away since.
None of my immediate family members have college degrees. I choose to be different and I'm going to get one.

Yeah. I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk as well. Trust me, they are starting to notice.
I thought just 2 courses and a full time job was impossible at one point but I've gone far beyond that.
Where I work, my co-workers can be quite slow and I'm always trying to push them to work harder. Hell, I even do more maintenance work than I ever did and my boss doesn't complain.

The only reason I use "left-wing" is because a lot of the political stuff I've read is tilted mainly towards the Left end of the political spectrum.
In other words, I'm a mortal enemy of childish sycophants like Rush and Sean Hannity.
-
Then I guess I could argue that I've been relatively thoughtful of the women I've been with. I mean, you can't just go into something with a one-sided perspective and expect to get away with it. One thing I do know is if they still want to talk to you, you must not have done anything bad.

Good luck, Kepone!Thanks man.
I just finished my math homework for this week. It really wasn't as hard as I thought it might be. I hope I can pass this one though.

Great points. I might still stick to my major.
I'm more focused on seeing how far I can move up the ladder at work. I don't like maintenance or managing custodians but it's a start.
