I can't have a cat either. However, I see several of my fellow tenants are actively risking their leases to keep cats. I can't help but wonder if the landlord will ever come to their senses and allow cats?

I love the way that cat looks! My family pet is a calico as well and she was a stray when we found her 15 years ago. Quite an old cat but she's still going strong.

What's wrong with the C64??Nothing right now. With some help from joeybastard, I was able to figure out how to use my Fast Load cart to load games from disk. The "L" key on the keyboard is busted and I can't manually type in "load". Thankfully, I happened to have a copy of the Epyx Fast Load cart. I played around with some of the disk games.
Found out that I have a hacked copy of Raid on Bungeling Bay. The label says "Impossible Mission" but that's incorrect. I'll have to look at it again and tell folks about it. Pretty cool though.

If it's any consolation, I brought home $44. That was only due to a cashier error where she gave me $20 more than what I'd brought in. However, I didn't check before I left the store. Oh well.

Found out that her phone was not working properly so I wrote to her. She doesn't have internet yet since her computer was hit badly by a virus.
Who knows? Talked to a mutual friend who works with her and I trust that mutual friend so I believe what I've heard so far.

I'm still struggling though. Getting hard to lose more weight because my body wants more calories so I'm just doing what it tells me. LOL. Trying to increase the amount of exercise I get to counteract any weight gain.
I might be getting a weight bench soon for free but I don't know yet. I'll probably try to get to 190-ish and then think about lifting weights. I'm 210 now.

So what was the suprise?
The car was supposed to be waiting in the parking lot where I live. However, it is still not ready. I heard they were putting another transmission in it today and I assume it's still not ready.

I just don't understand the appeal of games that promote crime and violence for the sake of crime and violence.Society is going to hell fast, if this is now entertainment.
For some people who've never witnessed/been involved in violent acts, it can be odd and entertaining at the same time. As scary as it sounds, it's true.
I just play GTA games to kill time mainly but I wouldn't ever think of doing anything violent after playing them. You could say that it's more of an escape to some who play these games.

Nice cat there.
I did check out the local Humane Society website and they had some nice cats on there. $75 to adopt one but I believe it would be worth it. I'm not going to get one anytime soon though. The cat would have to be good at hiding for when the housing authority comes to inspect my place and when they do fire sprinkler inspections, etc.
