Depends. What do you have to trade with? I normally wouldn't trade either but I am very flexible and for the right deal, I will trade mostly anything in my collection. Thanks.

Well I'm almost done completing a transaction for an Odyssey2 and going to be picking up a 5200 soon. Other than that,no other trades going on. I bid on something on EBay and still waiting to see if I win it or not. I do need a A/C Adaptor for my 2600! I couldn't find one at Radioshack and they gave me the same old bullshit excuse for not having one. Let me know if you know of a place that carries them. My collection just grew by 4 NES carts and 1 Genesis cart today. 3 of the 4 NES carts are considered rarities and I picked up all at a Gamestop in this area. Let me know if you want to trade more anytime.

Are you still interested in the Jag I have? Let me know as I am looking to pick up a 5200. Thanks! -

Bad picture quality. I wouldn't bid on them myself. Anyone who lists Combat as "rare", should be taken out back, tied to a post and shot at with a BB Gun. Do the research, stupid. LOL. Just aimed at people who do classify it as rare.

Drier than a desert here. I find everything except for Atari. Looking forward to the flea markets in the Spring. Some people bring video games from Flea markets in Florida to sell in Vermont. It's true. At least I know 1 reliable supplier of Atari stuff at flea markets.

I went in today expecting that they would carry A/C adaptors for the 2600..I even gave the correct rating..9v 500ma..and they claimed that they didn't have any and that the adapa-plug thingies would not fit in the 2600. How many times do they have to make excuses? The guy could have offered to special order it but did he take the time to do so? NO! Anyone know where I can find a 2600 A/C Adaptor? I really need one as I want to get my 2600 running again badly. I can't believe these idiots working at RadioShack. They should have a badge that says "IDIOT" in large bold type letters on their shirts!

The Official "Thrift finds" Thread
Brad2600 replied to Happy_Dude's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Not exactly a thrift find, but I did find some rare NES carts at a Gamestop in this area: -Krazy Kreatures -Venice Beach Volleyball -Dudes with Attitude Krazy Kreatures and Dudes with Attitudes are considered to be "More Rare" on the NES rarity scale while Venice Beach Volleyball is ranked "Hard to Find" on the NES rarity scale. Not bad. All 3 games came without boxes. Also found Super Sprint for the NES and WWF Royal Rumble for the Genesis. Not a bad find overall. Not exactly "thrift"..but still darn cheap! Not a bad find. -
I just need to say that after my first trade ever with Witchfynde, I was excited about the possibilities of buying/trading with fellow collectors on AtariAge. However, in my pursuit of Atari and related games, I've constantly mixed up my priorities. So, if you were considering a trade with me and you pm'ed me before, please do pm me again so I can clear things up. It's giving me a headache and I hate to think that it's going to cause headaches for the person that I'm buying/trading with or so. I do have anxiety, so when I get a lot of things on my mind I tend to panic so clear it up and you might just have a trade. I just feel like the bad guy because I already screwed up a silent auction because I got too overexcited at having another 2600 and such so please do give me any advice you have. I look forward to buying/trading on AtariAge and I hope with some input and communication, the trades or deals will be successful like the one I had with Witchfynde. Thanks.

I have the following handheld games: -Bowling Coleco -Knock em Out Boxing Bambino Are either of these games worth much to anyone? They are on my game collection list below. Just not sure whether to trade, sell or keep. Lemme know!

On Ebay..I just registered and bid today..my name is BradB002 And I'm in it for buying only for now. Just bid on my first item and looking to see how it goes in the end.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know what TI carts looked like anyway. Never seen one though I have a TI-99/4a that will likely be traded or sold for the following: Atari 2600 games Atari 5200 system and games Colecovision INTV or INTV System If anyone's interested..consult my trade list in the link below.

Not religious..but I would bid on it just for the hell of it. It could be comic relief because if God wanted us to play video games..then that's what Atari was invented for! LOL.

Jaguar stuff wanted - 5200 (and other) stuff for trade
Brad2600 replied to Hank's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I have a Jag but I would only put it up for trade if it was for a working 5200 with games. The Jag I have comes with one game(White Men Can't Jump) and it works pretty well. I was also planning to buy a 5200 through Collectors Cards and Games..but if you have one of the two with working controllers, let me know. -
Anyone heard from Mike of Cards and Collectors lately?
Brad2600 replied to AtariLeaf's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I did send several emails inquiring into a 5200 and he assured me that he would still have some by the time I get around to ordering one. It depends on my finances which can be out of whack. I do plan to order a 2600 soon. Anyone seen General Atarian in here lately? Been trying to contact him through PM but no answer since. I do plan to buy the 2600 I won in his silent auction but need to hear from him on whether or not it's still up for sale. Hopefully (crossing fingers). I need a working 2600 with a power supply so I can test and enjoy all my 2600 games. -
Agreed. Looks like I will have to get a INTV2 soon though..LOL I had one but was dumb enough to toss it out. Seeing how I have over 10 games for it now, it would be stupid not to pick one up. I do agree with you though.

Actually, Friday the 13th was pretty interesting. Not the best game, but I found it frightening to play when I was younger. Especially when Jason suddenly appeared!
-
Not really a "thrift" find..but I did some digging in my old room at my parent's house and found the following: 1 more NES unit Casino Kid for the NES(Loose) Game Genie for the NES(Unboxed) 5 more carts for the INTV Pitfall! cart for the INTV is a rarity 5! Picture label! Loose cart though. Bambino handheld game: Knock em out boxing Not a bad find. Assume that there's more games hidden away in my parent's house. I hope though.
-
It would be money well spent if you had the system to play the games with. Do you? I have a TI-99/4a myself but no carts. One question here: What shape are TI carts anyway? I have several games that I can't tell if they're for the INTV or 3rd party made for the TI computers? They are basically INTV carts with a piece of plastic at the ends to protect the connectors or something.
-
Around here, RadioShat has adaptors that cost $20! I'd rather buy an used power supply for my 2600s. As long as it works, the condition doesn't matter to me.
-
It's interesting because Joe Strummer of the Clash passed way on 22nd December 2002. I never noticed the "Combat Rock" version of Combat in the AtariAge store. I might pick it up soon as I am a huge Clash fan. Who else thinks that games should be hacked and music added?

The messages were PMs actually. And I guess the people I was pm'ing are really busy or something. -

Brad2600 replied to Brad2600's topic in Atari 2600
It was described as a clone so I dunno. Look here...I may not say the right things or do the right things in here..so cut me some slack. I love classic and current games and always will. I'm excited to learn more about these systems/games. -
Rules and etiquette of trading/selling on AtariAge
Brad2600 replied to Brad2600's topic in Atari 2600
It was the person who did the silent auction for AtariAge members a few posts back. I slipped up and said that I should have bid lower...kinda stupid of me but when I look at the big picture, it's not a bad deal for a 6 switcher Sears Telegames with a game case or something underneath it. Anyway, I'm taking baby steps so I don't anticipate any big trades soon. I really want to enjoy the games more than I want to trade them.
