I mean, trading as opposed to EBay. I am looking for a 5200 system, a 7800 system and games/accessories for both. I would love to trade through the mail, instead of putting what I have on Ebay. That is what I meant. By the way, my real name is Brad too.
-
Sent you a private message regarding this matter. I would prefer trading over EBay.

RS Boxing is pretty rare, according to the Rarity Guide. Good luck finding it, StanJr! I never got a chance to enjoy these games as I still need a power plug for my 2600. Some games did not work though.
-
Several games are Rarity 4's though: -Donkey Kong Jr -Fathom -Spitfire Attack -Eggomania The rest of the games are 2s and 3s and some common games. Interesting. I counted 37 games(including doubles) but I am missing 3 games: -Chopper Command(or is it Choplifter?) -Kaboom! -Combat I would LOVE to add on to my collection. Going to start searching goodwill and thrift shops around here to see what I can find!

Anyone wanna trade for the extras? Let me know.

I have RealSports Baseball and Tennis. I think I have the manual for one of them lying around here. I'll have to check.

I'm surprised how any unsuspecting idiot could sell something on Ebay. I'm going to sign up for E-Bay soon but I'm going to research whatever I plan to sell before selling it. That way, people won't feel like they're being ripped off.
-
Thanks for the input and I never considered trying them on my Atari 2600 though. Even if they weren't rare, how much would they go for still? I mean, have any ever sold on E-Bay?

I just have to say this about Colecovision

It's Chris Farley, dude! Just thought I'd chime in. -

It's funny because I found a pair of Colecovision Super Action Controllers yesterday at Salvation Army. It says, "Made in Hong Kong" on the bottom of them. I have a separate post explaining the find but what you just said about Coleco products being made in Amsterdam, NY..probably doesn't apply to the controllers I found. Let me know if I'm wrong. -
I too have lots of NES woes. Is there a way I can find one of these top-loaders? Any links to pictures at least? I've never seen or heard of a top-loader.
-
I was browsing the local Salvation Army yesterday and I came up with an interesting find. Here goes: Colecovision Super Action Controllers Serial No. C 4 6 1 8 3 Manufactured by Coleco I managed to get both controllers for under $2 and If anyone is interested in the, send me an instant message. I'm not sure about pricing, but I'd like to know how much they could be worth and I don't have a Colecovision, so I see no reason to hold on to them(unless I acquire a Colecovision). Let me know.

Were you going to look into the 5200? Just wondering.
-
I'd buy one if you ever decided to sell.

I posted a topic a few months back regarding Power plugs. I lost the one I had for my 2600 and I went to Radio Shack to ask about it. They gave me heat and said they didn't have one(when it was obvious they did) and after that I forgot all about getting my 2600 back up and running. What exactly do I need for an adaptor? 800ma? 200ma? I remember it was something like that. If you can help, I would appreciate it. I know where to find the adaptor plug. Thanks.
-
If you can do that, that would be cool. I am willing to order through the mail or pay online if I can find a good 7800 or 5200. Thanks. $25 sounds like a bargain. I'll find games and stuff if it doesn't have them.
-
Would it be relatively easy to bypass the RF unit and hook up an A/V interface to a 2600? I have a 2600 that could be a donor unit for a project of this type but I have no idea if it's worth it. RF connections stink though.
-
If I can find a place that sells newer units or used units of either a 5200 or 7800, I would consider it. I have looked into this before but the more information I get, the more I want a boxed unit which I'm sure would cost me $$. I'm almost salivating at that James Bond 5200 which I found in the EBay forum on here. Just finding something in it's original box for a decent price would be nice.
-
Thanks StanJr and I will have to check it out sometime. Right now my eyes are tired but I will spend more time coming here. It's my goal to get a 5200 and 7800 so that I'll have 3 Atari systems.

The Confederate Flag is a symbol of Southern oppression upon Blacks and white superiority. Don't ask me why I think this. I have have seen many rednecks here in Vermont that fly this flag. I've always felt compelled to remind them that they are in liberal Vermont. Then again, it is a piece of cloth. It's mostly the symbolism behind it that makes people pissed off.

I haven't posted here in ages, but I was wondering where I could find a 5200 or 7800. I know this is the 2600 forum, but I was hoping to find like a classifieds type thing instead of E-Bay. I have 2 Atari 2600 systems with over 25 games. The Atari still works and I would like to be able to use it again someday. Lemme know Thanx!
-
Is this a joke or what? This is my first post at this site in a long time. What a crock!
-
I don't know about most of you, but the weirdest place I have found Ataris is a dumpster. I found 2 2600s and an Intellivision in the trash somewhere. They work fine(dunno about the Intellivision) and the games that came with the 2600s work great too. Strange. I call it a lucky find as I still have all of that stuff now. Yay!

I will need an adaptor for the R/F Adaptor because at the end , it is spliced and has the old style hookups for older TVs and not the hookup that goes directly on the thing you hook cable wire to a TV with. I know my gadgets, but not familiar with the names. Anyways, are there places to find games for these things? I was hoping it would be a C64 that I found since I like C64s. I dunno. Thanks.
-
I do have the hookups for the computer but it is an RF Adaptor..it would need another adaptor to hook up to my TV...maybe RadioSuck would have one. I dunno about Basic. I would like to find cartridges or learn to use BASIC if I can hook it up. Otherwise, I would sell it.
