I am still interested in trying to get this game to work in MESS. I'll let you know what I think of it once I do.
I played 2600 Frogger earlier today and the flicker was annoying. I hope the 7800 version tops it.

I'll try and give it time, Stan.
She made it clear that it was ok if I talked about this stuff and now I know to back off and just leave things the way they are. I'm not really worried much anymore.

-
She lives close to you then?Have you ever seen this person? Or talked to her in person?
I would just play it cool and continue as you are.
If this online stuff is occuring everyday maybe someday something will come of it.
I wouldn't stress over it too much.
She'll either come around or not.
In the mean time if you are having fun chatting and playing games... That's a good thing. Why screw it up?
She lives about a hour and a half away. I've never seen or talked to her in person so that might be a disadvantage. I have seen a picture of her though.
I'll keep playing it cool.
She said she'd let me know when she feels comfortable meeting people again, which might be never. Oh well.
I'll keep it cool. I don't want to ruin it.

I think it's kind of cool to have the ability to do all that work to a forum though. I really have no clue how forums work technically. I might end up learning in one of my courses though.

I use a Genesis controller as it has better movement.
I must apologize for the inflammatory tone of my PM regarding the high score, keilbaca. The thing is, I have a videotape somewhere that shows me setting a high score but I'll have to find it. If I do, I'll probably take another stab at beating that high score and then submit it.
The thing is, I've wanted to send it in to TwinGalaxies but all kinds of crap came up. It's good that I saved the tape though.

Yes, this game came with a special controller. I don't bother with trying to find it though.
-
I had to open up the 2600 for some troubleshooting and I could see where the work was done and all. It's pretty cool actually. The A/V cord is soldered to the board so you never have to worry about losing the cord and having to find another one.

It cost me $20 for the mod and it was money well spent too.
I'm sending out one of my 2600s soon to be modded as well.

It sounds like it could be more of a bother to get to know anyone in the first place. I still don't mind getting to know people a little better regardless. I rarely stay in touch with anyone that leaves my company though.

My boss at this job is just the coolest boss I've ever had. Really rad dude. You'd like him.
I actually feel redeemed after working so many hours. The folks where I work are starting to feel like family sometimes and I feel that some of them are starting to "warm up" to me.

That is what I will be using next Thursday for. I asked for that day off so that it will be a 3 day weekend next week.

I'll look forward to seeing what you have for a workout regiment.

Thanks for the kind words. I try to worry more about myself than my brother and it works better that way.
I'm waiting on a modded 2600 with A/V for him. He expressed interest in owning a 2600 again so I'm trying to get it together for him along with some games and hopefully he'll give me some money for it like he promised.

That sucks man.
I doubt that your co-workers were "sick". I think lazy is a better word to use.
This happens often where I work as well. I've had to cover for one of my co-workers who has been missing a lot of work lately due to car/housing situations. I try not to complain too much because my boss said that he'd give me the highest raise possible in November.
Just hang in there man. I worked 75 hours this week and 6 days instead of 5 and I can definitely relate with getting sick of driving to work.

Good luck with your auctions, Al. I looked at some of the items but I didn't really see anything that caught my eye.
I too, have a lot of STUFF to get rid off. I have a box full of game controllers that I will be sorting out very soon. What I don't want, I'm going to get rid of either on EBay or the AtariAge Marketplace. Most of the controllers have been photographed and I let gamerzuniverse use some of those photos as well.
I can relate with having no space left. My closet is FULL of various gaming systems, etc. It will be a chore to re-organize my collection and make a new Excel file for my collection, since the old one was destroyed when my computer crashed a few months ago.
Good luck!

Well the oil was leaking because my dad didn't tighten the oil filter enough after changing it a few weeks ago. He managed to correct this last weekend and if I'm lucky, the starter might be alright.
I'm having the engine cleaned possibly next week or so.

That makes sense now.
I've never been one to have many friends though so I guess that's why it's so baffling.
-
I think he was surprised that I *DIDN'T* know that he was gay because he thought that I knew and I honestly didn't. I did think that he was bi or something but not gay. Oh well.
I just want all my friends to be happy, even if it means they must exclude me from their new lives. It's really unfortunate because I wouldn't have acted any different than I did before he came out.
-
This is going to sound weird, but I'm mostly upset over a certain friend of mine who recently came out. He doesn't talk to me anymore or act like a friend and it bugs me sometimes. I gave the guy all kinds of support when he needed it as a friend and all of a sudden, he comes out and no longer wants anything to do with me. I told him at first that I respected what he was doing and that he was still my friend. We've been really good friends since high school.
I wouldn't make such a big deal about it except that it's the second time it's happened to me. Another good friend of mine who is a girl, came out herself a few years ago and does not maintain contact anymore. I do miss having her around as a friend and we would never work beyond that anyway.
Maybe I'm just not used to stuff like this. If they are happy with their lives, that is awesome. I'd never be against that. I just don't understand why people do stuff like this. If I had done something wrong, all they need to do is tell me because sometimes I don't know.

I love the blog feature, Al.
Though it would be nice to get feedback on what I write every now and then. I've started to write more stuff in general so it's another medium for me to write with.

Talk about interesting. I'd hate to be sleeping when something like this was going on.

You complete me. You kill me.

I'm starting to get into actually PLAYING the games in my collection, which is not as easy as I wish it was right now. I sent out a 2600 to be A/V modded for myself and hope to one day be able to try ALL 300 games in my 2600 collection just so I know what they are. I might discover some games that I'll actually enjoy. I can name about 10 games so far that I enjoy out of my own collection.
Might as well PLAY the games rather than let them sit there.
Not sure how this relates to your blog post, but I used to have a bout with kleptomania myself but I never took videogame stuff.
