It's so funny how in the last two years or so people have really gotten on the "classic gaming" band wagon. They were the ones who once made fun of you for playing the SNES when the PS1 came out or always wondered why you still kept your old "outdated" systems. "Oh my NES? I threw it away"! "I have a N64 now"!The point I'm trying to make is that I was into classic gaming WAY before anyone else was. Way before it was popular. And I'm sure thats the way it is with most of us on Atari Age.
I remember when you couldn't GIVE AWAY a NES or 2600. I remember when you could get games for $5 that now go for $40!
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad people are enjoying old games again but I have a feeling its just a trend for most people. Now games and systems that were once trash to most and treasures for me are "drying up"!
Strange times we live in. LOL

My parents never threw away my games growing up. They knew how much they meant to me.

He's not worth it, batari.
Being rational is realizing that the 2600 can't do every godforsaken idea out there that people have. It has limitations much like any other gaming system.

Cost me about $12.50 in fees to sell several lots of Hot Wheels. Ridiculous.
It's too bad that there aren't any viable alternatives to EPay that actually work.
-
You can't sell anything on EPay for a fair price anymore. I sold 3 sets of Hot Wheels cars and took a HUGE loss on them because they're not even mine (I sold them for my brother) and also because he spent years building up complete sets. I feel bad about it as he really needs the money.
-
Delete. Items have been sold.

Ya. More whining from someone who sucks at certain videogames and decides to blame the controllers.
Perhaps the person has never heard of a Redemption 5200 adapter.
Instead of whining, I bought one of these years ago.

Atariboy = Genius!
I would love to see a Scooby Doo game especially.

Beautiful design. It's got a nice woodgrain finish to it.

Sony scores another "D'oh" moment.
Homer Simpson would be proud of this one.
I'll simplify it for folks:
360: Jelly Donut
Wii: Double Chocolate Glazed donut
PS3: Stale, day old plain donut.

I don't really have much time to work with but thanks anyway. I have a price guide and that's about it.
Will be glad to check out that site. Maybe they have a marketplace.
-
This is non-video game related but I couldn't find much on EBay about it.
My brother has asked me to sell off several years worth of completed(or near complete) sets of Hot Wheels cars. He needs the money to get by in jail
I need to get more info from him first on what sets to sell.
I did want to ask if anyone on here collects these and would be interested in buying them. I'll probably try EBay too but I'm hoping to sell them for a decent price, close to what they're actually worth if possible (depending on condition, etc).
Let me know.

Back in the day, 2600's 'Custer's Revenge' was the most widely-known adult videogame. It probably still is the most, for that matter. It's pretty sad how people are only interested in shitty games like Custer's Revenge or Beat 'em and Eat 'em.
-
Probably should hold onto this then.Probably, considering I gave that game to you for next to nothing.
I forgot all about that.
It's been so long.
-
Damn. Is the market for 2600 games that bad?
Probably should hold onto this then.
-
Nevermind...

Only the folks with the quickest reflexes win auctions on EBay.

The only system I've bothered to play the last few months doesn't even qualify as a "classic" system.
I've just had no time to enjoy Atari like I used to. I sold off my INTV stuff months ago and don't really do anything with most of my games.
-
I was not trying to insult anyone ok, nor threaten, if I did I would not say anything at all, and ps she insulted me for no reason, enough, I havent said anything in months and then I get attacked for no reason I don't think so
You rubbed quite a few members the wrong way with your initial posts in the homebrew forum, and most of us haven't forgotten about that, even though it did occur a while ago. Maybe you've redeemed yourself in other ways since then, I don't know. But I do know that if you can keep your criticism constructive, nobody will be insulted.
It's not often that I check out forums like this but I'm pretty amazed at how much this place has de-evolved in certain aspects. I assume that rjchamp3 isn't much of an Atari fan if he has the audacity to insult homebrewers.
I think this thread is a great idea and will discourage chumps that like to post ideas without any constructive thought, mockups or anything to make the idea "sell".
Just my 2 cents.

You do not need anything other than BIG SEXY!
That's right. A heavy-sixer, either Sears or Atari will do.

-
OH MY GOD!
Now look, I know I've been pretty lax with game collecting lately but I swear if I ever get an apt with a basement, I'm going to pimp it out with my collection.
Nice freakin' gameroom!
