  1. Anyone have one for sale, let me know. Cash is waiting Thanks, Alan.
  2. I'd go for CBHD. But you won't be able to access the secondary port without HDDRIVER.
  3. Eeek... I've just seen this though........ "This card can only connect with 1.8'' 3.3v ide interface,if connects with the 2.5'' ide interface ,the chip will be burning." Don't use this one with the IDE interface !!!!! http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2FF05552-Msata-Mini-Pci-e-sata-to-1-8-44pin-Ide-Adapter-Hard-Disk-Convert-Card-%2F350815245310%3Fpt%3DLH_DefaultDomain_0%26hash%3Ditem51ae37d3fe This one claims 5V support though, which is the one I believe Delvis has. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2FmSATA-Mini-PCI-E-SSD-to-2-5-inch-44Pin-IDE-male-Adapter-Card-JM20330-chip-%2F161036687779%3Fpt%3DLH_DefaultDomain_0%26hash%3Ditem257e88d9a3
  4. mSATA to IDE is pretty cheap. ebay is always your friend for IDE adapters.....
  5. Python works on the Atari, but you have to remember it's interpreted so can be slow on basic ST's.
  6. Just PM'd you Mathias.... Marvellous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. WoW, that's a pity. We nearly saw Spectre GCR released under the GPL. Now that would have been fantastic.
  8. Already asked wrsonline and they gave me the contact at C'T magazine. Unfortunately, they don't reply to my emails.
  9. Certainly proving very difficult. But I'll keep on hunting.
  10. Just wondering if anyone had one and willing to part with it. Or a complete machine with it fitted would also be welcome. Thanks!
  11. It's been down for me too. :-( I've spoken to my ISP and they suggest it's a 250host.com problem.
  12. Glad you like and exceeded expectations :-) Alan.
  13. I'm pleased to announce the pricing of new EtherNEC boards. The page is up at... http://www.freemint.org/ethernec/ethernec.html Apologies about higher shipping costs for international folks, but these are heavy and I always ship with delivery confirmation. Shipping will start at the end of September.
  14. The Hydra does indeed look good. But for those who have towered systems I think the EtherNEC makes more sense. Additionally, the only other thing that concerns me about the direct interfaces such as NetUSBee and Hydra is if you pull on the cables accidentally too hard - I think the card could come out of the cartridge port quite easily. With the EtherNEC it's very hard given it's in it's own box and has another 15cm of slack via the 40pin cable.
  15. Sounds good to me. Forgot I had an account already at AtariAge :-)
  16. Just wanted to let people know that I'm making Eiffels if people want them I've already shipped an initial batch out over at the Atari Forum site. Ordering via http://www.freemint.org/eiffel/eiffel.html And a reference sheet at http://www.freemint.org/eiffel/ref.html I'm also going to be making some EtherNEC's in the not too distant future. Thanks all, and feedback you have on this is very much welcome. Alan.
