  1. @Marco thanks for your input on "The Quelle situation" as it would `ve been titled in Pulp Fiction. I really look forward in meeting you and Roloff again in just 2 days. Maybe we have the time to talk things about the rarity list Spirantho and the rest of the gang wouldn`t have anything against it if you and Roloff would help us amateurs out
  2. i added all my activision pics yesterday and will begin uploading the first atari ones today. how`s the rest of the gang doing? i also saw the adding of ccc--- to the contributors list which is fine as he also has great expertise in the field of PAL atari. @Spirantho man, you make me nervous with your hidden online status
  3. speaking for me i only added games i own so far. I never came across a PAL-version either but haven`t been looking so hard cause i won a complete NTSC one.
  4. i meant UPPERCASE instead of bold in my previous posts
  5. Spir, the manuals even have QUELLE printed to them; its not a sticker. as my memory serves me i have never seen a quelle game sold elsewhere but thats not the point here. someone at Quelle management obviously made a deal with "Mister X" to sell modified games at Quelle stores.
  6. the boxes even have a legit Quelle order number printed on them so in my opinion it would be unwise to rename it.
  7. no, the german spelled sans serif ones were indeed sold in Quelle stores - the bold letter made in taiwan not. so, Quelle / Short is wrong as all carts in there are NOT Quelle ones i suggest Pirates / Quelle - Pirates / Quelle / Short + Pirates / Taiwan Cooper and all wrong carts from Quelle wander to the Taiwan Cooper.
  8. yes, there is still a mess in the Quelle directory. i just checked some boxed pirates i have ("Quelle" and "Made in Taiwan") - i suggest to create a Pirate / Taiwan for games like Popeye, Mr. T,... as they have NO indication of Quelle (no number, no price tag BUT the text "Made in Taiwan" on the back of the box) AND they have their name in BOLD letters as the Quelle ones have the names in SansSerif. I have NOT ONE game with a Quelle box which has BOLD letters - so all english named pirates were surely NOT released in Quelle stores!!!!!!!!!! for example: Air Wolf, Cobra 104, Black Hole, Hot Wave, King Arthur are NOT from Quelle
  9. uploaded some ( ) Quelle, RainbowVision, Video Game Cart and a few others. i also added a second Activison picture label Freeway.
  10. folks, i began uploading pictures (some b&W and color CBS for a start). as i`m scanning them right now it will be a very sloooow process.
  11. Yes, its Roloff, better known under Dr. Deleto He`s also at EuroCon 2004 But he`s not the one I get the game from
  12. Spir, I get it in exactly one week - i keep you guys informed about it (the "got" was wrong )
  13. in that case i bring some cookies BTT: i got a game called RECONNAISSANCE from a trade (even the DPG doesn`t have it listed) - any more info?
  14. as i am going to EuroCon 2004 in The Hague just send me the keys to your loft and i test them
  15. Yok, which two games were pirated for Galaxy Defender and Space Marshall???
  16. i can`t remember if i got it on eBay or in a trade - but i also have an NTSC one and therefore can determine its origin. i find rarity 7 for it appropriate. Spirantho - maybe you can adapt the database so that changing the rarity once we settled for it can`t be done anymore except you.
  17. ok, about rarity: i also have a PAL Skeet Shoot (boxed with instructions) - makes me wonder if it`s really an 8. let`s start with the super-common carts (the 1s) and work up from there with the ratings. we should discuss each carts rarity because i don`t think it`s a good idea that everybody edits the database on his own.
  18. okiedokie, as Brazil officially uses the PAL-M standard: is it OK to add the carts to the database?
  19. BTW, I had all my carts in an Excel document but started using the Game Collector by Collectorz. A nice little proggy for keeping track of the collection. Maybe also useful to you, HighInf
  20. man, you english folks really go crazy about boxed 2600s
  21. yes, thats why i`m glad i put my name in the contributors field of all games i own a small status update: - CBS carts need to be added (black/color) - Spectravision/video carts need to be added - Telesys carts need to be added - look through Quelle carts (standard/short) - adding ownership to all my carts
  22. i`m high-bidder at the moment - maybe rudolphy inserted the wrong picture. PAL condor attack by goliath surely isn`t a "holy grail"
  23. the Rainbow Vision carts have an "SS-" with a number on the front label - i don`t own a game from "Fantastic" so i can`t tell you if they are really Rainbow Vision. You`re right about the different HomeVision carts - Spiranthou will surely correct/add the appropriate label. You will have to wait with Cosmic Swarm when you can test it in person - then you can compare it to the emulator rom.
