Who wants to help build the elusive PAL rarity list then?
AtariBuff replied to Spirantho's topic in Rarity Guide
ok, added at about 90% of my pal collection to the list now - do we have a date on which everyone should`ve entered his collection? -

@Spirantho yes, you are absolutely correct - there do exist the one or other Quelle cart in short and standard shape because some of them were also shipped as two games in one box and therefore one cart had to be downsized. @Whisper yes, I misused the contributor button on some occasion - but i still think that everyone who has the game should be able to have the button available and should enter that information (now that we have more server-space). we could smoothen out wrongly input data and get a nice have-list also. -

just a note: i did input all my Quelle carts into the main group as i don`t see a point to make a Quelle / Short group as there is no Quelle game which was released as short AND long cart. -

so now we only need an EDIT button for each entry to add the contributor. BTW: my login worked with IE -

spirantho, i think the earlier we implement a user-based login the better it will be for tracking games and entries. you could simply put another datafield at the end of each entry which says "spi, buf" if we two own the game. i would be willing to go through all my entries again to add my nick. -
Hi, is it possible that you could help me out with an eBay auction which is strictly "shipping to US only" as i`m located in Europe? I will PayPal all costs within the US to the seller and your costs (handling and shipping to Europe) to you. Please PM me for details. It`s a buy-it-now auction. Greets, Reinhard

i deleted the 2 entries, Track & Field and River Patrol for now as I`m pretty sure that there has been a PAL release of both. I`m gonna check Track & Field against the emulator roms today to see what`s the deal with it. I don`t own River Patrol but I have it mentioned in a german game magazine quit a few times - but no confirmation yet. will keep you posted about that. i also cleaned out the database yesterday evening as there were a few ghost-entries like Bump, Space,... (you get the idea). on a sidenote it`s sad that THE Pal collector (Marko) works officially for the DPG - his input would be the best thing that can happen to the database. -

What are the oldest arcade machines in your area?
AtariBuff replied to Streck's topic in Arcade and Pinball
definitely my Lunar Lander, then my Asteroids and then my Tempest. They all reside in my basement and are surely the oldest coin-ops in my area. -
I do have a german edition of these. will post a scan soon.

hi, this was not a rant directed at you as you have not used the phrases i posted besides i begin bidding soon
-
yeah, and no international shipping. this is a thing i really don`t get. the way to the post-office is the same. the weighting of the package is the same. nearly all folks are able to use PayPal over here. i spent at about $1000 in August and September alone on eBay, AtariAge Store and various other videogame deals. fine, many traders who were willing to ship overseas are happy that i bid on one of there auctions because when i want something i tend to pay a bit more and so be it. To all the other guys who are "too lazy to ship overseas", "don`t trust overseas people", "too much of a hassle", "product should remain in the US of A because i`m a patriot" can stick their games up their a$$es. they are not worthy to get my money. sorry for being so direct.
