Bump, added something else up for sale.
-
Bought a DS Lite from me, inquired clearly, paid quickly, let me know when it arrived, expressed all the tenets of a good buyer.
-
Thanks for that, I left the original text in but struck it out since you confirmed such. Also added a Famicom to NES adapter for sale.

Five issues from the early 1990s, one is missing a cover and another has a loose cover but they're all intact otherwise and readable. Lots of obscure game development and coverage going on in VG&CE that simply didn't happen in other publications because they dared to write for an older audience. $15 shipped anywhere to the 48 contiguous USA. It'll be a hefty package over 2 lbs boxed. PENDING/SOLD

I have spoken with HUNKAPRITZA over the phone and bought some items from him before with no issues. I'm pretty sure I sent the payment as a gift and he still came through on his end.

Best of luck on your treatment.

I have no plans to make any more of these.
They look great and I love the name you etched into the bottom. Any chance you could anodize a gold or bronze color if you ever changed your mind over making more of them?

Yeah I know, I just wanted to call the original poster to task on his original statement. I imagine anything done for Nintendo 1st party the project would be done entirely in-house and rarely if ever be for sale to the general public.
-
Yeah I stopped doing $35 a few months back. If anyone wants to undercut my asking price of $45 for a Game Gear recap they are more than welcome to.
-
Did Nintendo of America specifically commission you or was it Microprose or a subsidiary agency of Microprose?
-
Bump! Would make a sweet Chrissumass present.
-
You got a web site for these? I can spread the information around a little better that way. I suspect Tiny Cartridge would be interested in them at the very least.
Nope, no website, just selling these out the back of my van parked by the river. I might throw up an Etsy page or something soon.

I've produced a very limited run of custom Hanafuda playing cards. I think they would make great stocking stuffers or a Secret Santa pack-in for 2015. For those who aren't familiar, "flower cards" were Nintendo's first product and are still being made to this day. This is my take on a classic, satirizing some familiar faces and themes as a throwback to Edo Japan. I illustrated these myself. They are 2.25" x 3.5" Bridge size cards, they should fit in protective sleeves intended for YuGiOh cards.

There are 48 cards, and each suit represents one month out of the year. If you would like a better look, click here: HanafudaFullSet.jpg
January - Kid Icarus - Crane/Pine
February - Mario - Nightingale/Plum
March - Pikmin - Curtain/Cherry
April - Starfox - Cuckoo/Wisteria
May - Bowser - Bridge/Iris
June - Mother Brain - Butterfly(Metroids)/Peony
July - Ganon - Boar/Clover
August - Majora's Mask - Moon/Pampas
September - Samus Aran - Sake Cup(hidden in the arm cannon)/Chrysanthemum(Sova critters from Norfair)
October - Diana / Animal Crossing - Deer/Maple
November - Kirby - Poet/Willow & Kracko as the storm card
December - Link - Rooster or Phoenix/Paulownia

They are quality cardstock and come in a full color tuckbox, all professionally printed, coated, cut and shrinkwrapped. The cards feel great too! I am proud to offer something of this quality.

The price is $13.99 shipped USPS first class (continental USA) per deck. I will combine shipping if you want more than one. International shipping is available for a little more, simply let me know where you're located.

I hope this doesn't wind up trashed.

Sent me his Game Gear for some rework and an LED install, very communicative and paid quickly, no hassles. Great buyer.

The blonde jumped in the other guy's Porsche and drove off.
??? What happened?

I'm sure you would find a buyer over at SMSPower.org if you haven't tried listing there yet. Maybe Sega-16.com.

I have this listed on eBay for more, but if you're interested, by all means hit me up here. My asking price is $350, but I am open to negotiation and can swing free shipping if you are in the continental USA. First, some pics, then I will explain everything that's been done to this bad boy.

All electrolytic capacitors replaced.Heatsinks added to CPU, PPU and NESRGB controller chip so everything runs much cooler.Substantial cooling fins added to voltage regulator for longer life + 1.5 amp regulator instead of 1 amp stock. All video/audio signal wiring is shielded and grounded.Everything is easily disconnected and removable for future replacement/rework.Switch underneath the NES to disable NESRGB for stock RF or composite video.S-Video and 8-pin mini-din for RGB, perfect for Framemeister XRGB Mini. Stereo audio through 1/8" jack. You don't have to buy custom multi-out cables to get the most out of this system's video capabilities unless you want a SCART connection. S-VHS looks amazing on CRT televisions, while a Framemeister setup would display NES games beautifully on modern LCD televisions. The 72 pin connector was refurbished and scrubbed clean. Plays games right away provided the games have also been cleaned.Corrosion / flux residue from motherboard cleaned off.RF modulator box had rust stripped away, treated into brushed steel and given a protective coating of deoxit.Front control panel added with decal:Mono to stereo mixer knobs- you can now separate the sound channels or blend them back into mono. Youtube video of a sample recording from this NES.NESRGB palette select switch-Expansion audio low/off/loud switch- Games like Gimmick! and Akumajou Densetsu sound fantastic on the Power Pack. Youtube video of a sample recording from this NES.Pics of heatsinks, shielded wiring inside, etc:
Spare parts and extra decals will be included. I will also provide printed instructions/notes and a pinout for the 8-pin mini-din. If you want me to put a scart cable together I can do that for extra.-

Purchased a Nintendo NES set from this fellow recently and everything arrived quickly, well packed and protected. He was super courteous over the phone and we had a great conversation about general video game foolishness, older electronics and goings on at Atari Age. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again.
-
I have a friend that would be very interested in a solution for the SNES.
-
Yeah but a gray stick fits the look too. Not trying to steal your thunder at all, mine isn't for sale.
-
That controller mod improves the MAX immensely. I imagine it would be perfect for 7800 games. I did one for myself:

Thank you for offering, I've got one on the way already, should have mentioned that here.

New 2600 cases on E-Bay!

From what I recall these cases are generally terrible and ill fitting with almost any cartridge you try to throw at them.
