I hear ya bruthas and sistas,
I would've lit into that woman too. 250 bucks, go suck a grape.
I ran into a simliar situation at a grage sale over this past summer where the lady wanted to sell me a Nintendo 64 for like 50 bucks. I kept trying to get her down to like 20 bucks. She had a bunch of games too.
But she kept saying that her daughter says they sell for 50 bucks on eBay.
I was like, "well, then, why isn't this up on eBay?"
And she was like, "oh, well, um, yeah, we were going to do that. . . "
I said, "well, good luck to ya," and I walked away, hoping she would continue to haggle, but no such luck.
Some people just think this stuff is worth so much money (and granted, some of it really is), but c'mon, as StanJr says, aren't you supposed to be getting rid of your junk?
If you know you can get 50 bucks for something, well, then, list the G-darn thing on eBay and get out of my face.
I guess I'm still sour over that. :-)
