  1. Why not a own cartridge? Is somewhere a tutorial how to build own cartridges?
  2. Hi. Yesterday i´ve got a XONOX Double-Ender Cartridge (Sir Lancelot / Robin Hood). I´m from germany, and so it will be the PAL-Version (i think). The cartridge works fine on my 2600 / PAL-TV. But how can I see the difference on the cartridge? There´s no hint if it is PAL or NTSC. Does anyone know, if there is a difference between the PAL and NTSC Cartridge?
  3. My third child was born on 04.03.2010 . I tried to finish this game at this date, but i´m to late . Now, i can´t find enough sleep to work effective on CAC. Give me 2 weeks and i will finish this. Description: Move your CAC and destroy the enemies. Don´t shoot the mines (coming first). You can move in all directions. Press Fire + down to dive down (you are save for a few seconds). If you help an allied fighter, you will get an extra life (now you move 2 fighters, later 3).   5. The name of the game will be changed. I don´t want to use the name of another game to get attention. I think a hair-cross would make it to easy to shoot down the plane. The challange is to find out the correct height and range.

  7. I show you what i mean (Attachements). So you can hide behind rocks and fire your stone over it. Disadvantage: You can´t hit Goliath if he is close to you. stone.bas.bin stone.bas
  8. I worked on my game. Machine-gun sound added, big ship sprite added. But i have one problem. You see player0 in foreground, but i need player1 in foreground when they have the same position. Is there a command to change this or will i have to change the whole program?
  9. Don´t change everything. The playfield looks good. If David fires, start 2 objects, a missile and a ball. The missile flies stright to the enemy, equal to as if you fire now (But it´s only the shadow of the stone). The ball is the real stone, the position will first be more and more left, and later more and more right. if they have the same x-position, they will fall on the ground or on Goliath. I hope, my bad english will be good enough to tell you, what i mean
  10. The collision-detection needs a little facelifting. The game idea is nice. My tip: If David shoots, the stone has to fly in a ballistic curve. Maybe you can shoot the stone over the rocks and hit Goliath . Don´t ask me how you can realize that . Looking forward to see your next bin-file.
  11. I like the intro, the good looking player and the music. Nice. How do you get the scrolling-effect?

  15. Please try the new bin-file. Now, you are a fighter pilot, and you have to stop a invasion from see. First, you have to fight through the air defense, and shoot down the enemy fighters. if the anti-aircraft fire starts, you will have to attack the ship. If the cockpit gets red, you are under fire. This is a early version, but I will hard work on it to finish soon!

  19. This Project will be finished soon, but I need your help. Please try the game and give me feedback, how the final version should be. Do you prefer the levels as you see them (shurikens, Ninja-Fighter, fight stones) or should I increase the intelligence of the Ninja-Fighter and number of fight options (and give up shuriken and stone-levels) to get a form of a tournament? Game description: Up = Jump Down = Low Kick with foot Fire + Left/Right = Middle Kick Fire + Left/Right + Up = High fist Left/Right + Up = "Mega Jump" Shuriken-Levels (1,4,...) - If the shuriken will hit you, you will lose 1 live. Don´t touch them Ninja-Levels (2,5,...) - The ninjas will become stronger and stronger... Stone-Levels (3,6,...) - Low stones - down, Middle Stones - Middle Kick, High Stones: High Punch. You have to block 10 stones to get into the next level. In this Demo, there will be unlimited lives and 8 levels. I would be happy for some feedback and ideas, to finish the game the next weeks. Wolfgang EDIT: Many has been changed. Now, you have only Ninja-Levels. You have to fight 7 different Ninjas (from white to black Ninja, they have all 3 lives). The Ninja will attack with small shurikens, but they will not kill you. Try jump up, then fire. Stop jump-attacks from the ninja with fire+joystickright+joystickup. DojoTournament.bas.bin
