  1. Yes! Minestorm, That was a pretty cool game. The berserk wasnt a pirate so must be the real thing. BTW, My Vectrex still exists today, It is in a friends mothers garage 1000 Km's away
  2. You have a PAL cart, simple as that, I have realsport football that is indeed what you call soccer. I also have a realsport soccer, same cart as you,,,,,, Soccer is the REAL football
  3. What a bummer, I actually dont have this cart after searching for 30 minutes, Not into the emulation scene for the 2600 so either i need to find it or skip this game.
  4. Ive got the hanimex arcadia, The one I was talking about was earlier then that. No keypads, just a stick and button,
  5. Without , still plays well with a regular pad though.
  6. I owned some crappy Hanimex cartridge based console around the early 2600 day, I had a few carts for it and one with ten variations of pong. The joysticks where crap and I bent then within a few weeks. The graphics werent as good as the arcadia so i dont know what it was. An Odessey or whatever they are called?? I also had a Dick Smith Wizard which was like an intellivision, It had a knock off rally x on it and a few other games. The graphics seemed a little bit better then the 2600 but the games blew goats. The best unpoular system I had was a vectrex, It wasnt all that poular here to the best of my knowledge. I had scramble, a berserk clone and the rest i cant remember, The built in game was mine ???
  7. Well Ive only had time for about 3 games, My only entry is 98100. It went ballistic at this score. Luckily I'll have more time for the next week, Megamania is a great title.
  8. It seems today was a good day to buy ntsc stuff in a pal country. For $10 I got a U.S Saturn with revolution x and an action replay cart. Also a Super famicom with a multi game hunter, Is missing the Mega Drive adapter though , $20 A sega game gear for $10
  9. Yes you got a good deal I got my hands on an NTSC U.s Sat today for $10 with revolution x. I thought that was good. The games you got are ok, ditch all the sports titles unless u r into that stuff, The following are all good to start with Powerslave, awesome FPS Duke nukem 3d, Quake Alien trilogy Virtual on Virtual cop 1 and 2 Fighters megamix, Fighting vipers meets VF1 & 2, and the VF kids Baku Baku, excellent puzzle game Shining the holly ark 2, Great RPG Shining 3, another good Rpg Street fighter alpha 1 & 2 Sega Rally, awesome port Knights Any 2D fighter Crimewave Tomb raider, Then there is the jap shooters,,,,,,
  10. Got 2 saturn titles today for $5, nights and robot pit
  11. Nah, CPUwiz was correct, It/they look like regular model 1's without the logos
  12. Its just a typical grey JAP saturn without the decals
  13. Nah, that 6er photo isnt even a 1/2 heavy. Like i said no pal 6er has the heavy 6er molding, and only a few have the heavy rf. Out of my 3 6er's only one has the mega shielding.
  14. That Tomy hand held is excellent, I did have 2 of them and traded one. I'll keep my hands on the spare one. Apart from the vectrex one i dont think ive ever played it on any other system.
  15. That doesnt make any difference. You'll notice the carts are the same as is the manual. Only difference i can think of are the multi language boxes which arent here in aus anyway. The price is high because they are boxed' date=' my ntsc master builder was cheaper then my pal one. People will pay more then the products worth, simple as that[/quote'] people pay what it is "worth" to them. ebay forces you to pay more than what the second highest bidder thinks it is worth. The multi languages french/english would be canadian? Like i said, they are the only difference for many of them. I'd say you could mix and match everything and make no difference at all except for these multi language boxes. Have you got pal and ntsc boxes in english? Exactly the same
  16. Some aus Jr's actually came with the pro-line sticks as well.
  17. There is a heavy 6er PAL, not the heavy sixer spoken in the forums though. It is only heavy due to the massive RF shield inside. The true heavy 6er has thicker plastic, there are images on this site. To the best of my knowledge there is no PAL heavy sixer with the thick plastic unless someone has transplanted a pal pcb inside one of these cases.
  18. Just one today, Wacky races for the DC. Its actually quite a fun title if u like wacky races.
  19. That doesnt make any difference. You'll notice the carts are the same as is the manual. Only difference i can think of are the multi language boxes which arent here in aus anyway. 20. The PAL jr (rainbow as we call it here) came with the 7800 pads, Hence why they are so easy to find here.
  21. The best solution is an action replay cart, Lik-sang has them for cheap. A 50/60 mod is quite easy as well, But you'd want a switch as pal optimized games screw up in 60hz
  22. ***spits out drink*** WHERE the heck did you ever see CT new for $40? It was $60-$80 everywhere I ever saw it. Well at the time i was friends with a japanese guy who owned a gameshop. I normally got wholesale as he is a friend, At the time i got a disk doctor for 1/2 price but it woulndt save (early model) so i still bought carts. I look back and wish i bought a jag of him,,,, The prices you've shown are a big rip off!!
  23. Another mixed bag of stuff today, tommorrow is market day!, anywayss,, 1 Powerjoy, One of those famicom pads with built in games, on;y 10 variations of duckhunt (pad doubles as a gun), Luckily it has a famicom cart slot so it will be ideal for vacations, battery fed as well Following NES boxed titles, Puzznic Lolo 3, Isnt this meant to be rare?? Predator And a boxed mortal kombat for the SMS, oh, and an aladdin chip for $10
  24. Ok, I realise some countries dont care about the fact that the olympics are an amateur event but send proffessional sports people anyway,, ahem,.. dream,,, who??? Now todd, I think u r a complete loon (in a good sense)and clearly someone I admire for your accomplishments,, But isnt this AA contest for the regular players? Coz I want number 1 at some stage . We need an attatchent to the leaderboard reading "what todd got this week", I mean we already know you'll kick our asses! On the bright side you've given me a challenge
  25. As much as I dont agree to piracy, If you can get hold of an SNES back-up device you could always play them with one of those. I picked up mine for $15 They are both excellent rpg's IMHO and i intend on owning them again, But $40?? I dont think so. I think thats what they cost me brand new
