  2. Yeah, they where pretty good i think. I remember my dad getting me the donkey kong and galaxian from singapore? The donkey kong was a little hard but if you held the stick to the right and turn it on you woul start with 15 lives.
  3. That was fricken hilarious! Pity the shops in perth, i need some box modding,
  4. FF7 on ps1, love this game,, again tony hawk 3, ps1 tony hawk 4, ps2 tony hawk 1, n64 Res evil, cube matt hoffman pro bmx, ps1 Oh, and millipede 2600
  5. Mine cost $199 Aus when the australian $ was worth something. It came with space invaders and a promo deal where you sent off the form and received 6 titles,,, Which turned up when i was skipping school on a "sick" day. It was a vader i think and also broke down the first day i had it.
  6. One of those nes knock offs with many games?
  7. Could it br seacam? Or is that just a hybrid PAL?

    light gun games

Hi All Could someone help and list which atari 2600 titles use the light gun? if any? I picked up an xe gun last year and havent used it yet,,,,, um because i dont know what to use it with.
  10. HES is as common as dirt, There is still some very hard to gets though as i listed. Ive only seen hes bump n jump on ebay, Only seen 1 wall defender ever,,, etc The multis with 3 or more are more common then me
  11. The snes street fighter style TMNT release is my fave for sure, Was the 4? I couldnt rank the rest.
  12. The original GB version was pretty bad but i think i''ll be getting a GBA today after looking at the screenies. Does anyone know the combos for the RI arcade cheats?
  13. Ok, HES are all aus exclusives, Most common are the multi carts with 3 or more titles. Second most common would be the stand alones like frogger, tomcat etc. 3rd would be the multi carts with only 2 games. Then the stand alones . Like pig's n wolf. And i'd say the rarest would be wall defender and maybe other's ive never seen. I think john sands is aus only as well. There is only 3? JS titles, from common to least. Aquatak seahawk Exocet missile This is just from personal collection and frequenting ebay. Anyone care to offer opinions?
  14. I've found that with my big atari sms hall the other day that there is also a huge pile of atari brochures and catalogues, Also manuals for most the 2600 games and a poster for the snoopy title. There are a few sms posters and catalogues as well. I think this is my favourite part of the haul.
  15. Yes yes yes, neither , standalone etc As ive said i have a standalone in the BEDROOM, i have no space for it on the big sets. Ok, Ive come to the conclusion that after watching some DVD's on the xbox now that it is easily as good as my stand alone pioneer,, Therefore i will use the xbox. Also there is a vcd bootdisc for modded 'xboxs. I have way over 100 vcds bought from hong kong which i used to frequent. Holy crap, i believe CPUwiz has the same player!!
  16. I know little about ROB, except there is a huge ROB in the background that you fly around for the Fzero cube release.. I'll buy 1 if i ever see 1
  17. Thanks guys I have a stand alone pioneer in the bedroom, Space is the problem though and i have the PS2 and XBOX on the 2 big sets. From all your advise im gonna use the Xbox on my main set for dvd movies, Guess i just need to mod for all region. Cheers ppl
  18. I think it's safe to say that any pal release with an instruction manual in 10 different languages are probably evenly distributed. I'd say the only difference is HES carts which i think is australian only. As for pirate or hack carts, I'd say australia may hold a large number of asian pirate carts where as the brazil and german ones would be more common in europe. I have just received a load of 2600 manuals and brochures, The have symbols next to the games as to where they are being released. To cut things short, i beleive the legit atari / activision / parker bro,, etc have been released evenly.
  19. Hi All This isnt really a VS question, i like both machines. But what would be the average opinion of the dvd movie quality? I like the xbox sound a little bit more and the control has more options,, But the PS2 has a boot disc for mutli region. I really want to find out which does the job better
  20. Is fast food anything like Food fight? which was an arcade atari game? The saturn bubble bobble also has that awful RI remake, I dont like it at all. The Saturn BB is pretty much spot on. I'd love the game in a cabinet, Id want the rom with the switch for super or normal bubble bobble. There is about 9 or 10 rom sets? And also a hack called ms bobble or something, I have them all.
  21. Well just more sms games, i think if hit 100 so far, Anyone have any idea how rare a boxed wall defender is? It's the pal HES one. Ive never seen it in the past 20+ years of atari.
  22. Strange results? who am i to say,,, Only ever had one ps2 but had problems since day 1. DVD movies seem to freeze alot. Both ps1 and ps2 games freeze a hell of alot. The machine gets really hot. I;ve realised never to use the PS1 cd speed or video options as neither work and crash EVERY ps1 game i have after playing for a while. My GC has been excellent, Owned it since the release date and it runs flawlessly. Only bad point imho is the power supply and the ac/dc adapter, This get hot and needs to be disconnected each time you use it. Xbox has been excellent as well, No problems at all. Only gripe is the cd ripping tool.
  23. Ok,, I used to skip school to play this game,, Sooo sooo sad. But i loved it and still do. I remember playing this in a country town and using the cheats, the local kids thought i was some game god and offered me lunch if i told them the code. Later i explained that matching the 3rd and 2nd last numbers would change all remaining bubbles into bonuses,, It was sooo fricken funny, The reaction was hilarious. Other ports and version worth a mention: Sega saturn,, Has bubble bobble and the excellent rainbow islands on one disc. Amiga, has a decent port of bubble bobble and the best port of rainbow islands,, RI on amiga one game of the year 2 years running for the amiga. The amiga also had a follow up called parasol stars which i liked quite a bit, Huge points bonuses and secrets like the original. Bubble memories / symphony: Bubble bobble revisited the arcades with these in the 90's? Both excellent and as fun as the original.
  24. I also had a Pacman lunch box, Is the lunch box a system? Ok, now im being an idiot
