Worthless article on Sony's upcoming PS3 "Cell" Pr
DeV0 replied to Sauron's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I think this time around it is in sony's best interest not to BS about the machine,,,, Because they certainly did with the ps2, even the general public/platform gamer is aware of this. -
hey,, no offense to any sellers here, this is Aa and im sure we all know our stuff. Here in aus ebay bites alot, the parisites are in the thrift stores every day. Have a look at eby aus,, I have sold stuff myself for next to nothing but look at some of the starting prices?? ahem,,, mostly sad

This is without doubt the best atari site for research and such,, There has clearly been alot of work put into it. I have a coouple of hundred carts and am from a PAL country, the majority are not here, The odd ones like bad spelling on labels and that dpught of stuff usually dont even get a reply on the forum. What this tells me is that a hell of alot of work is made on this site all the time,, So the wait is obvious but i am sure when it happens it will be bloody excellent for us europe / aus collectors. BTW, willing to help from an Aus perspective.

We've had vanilla coke here in Aus for a while, I like it.. Remember in Pulp fiction when whoever john travolta played ordered a vanilla coke in the buddy holly esque diner?? I think it's been out for a while in the states.

I think maybe the high prices are just EBAY madness, i mean how many people sell carts that actually know what they are??? EB are selling carts here in aus for $10 which is like $5 US. There is N64 carts and hardware everyware and i have major doubts that anyone needs eghey for buying these things at the bumped up price, I mean how much can something be worth when thousands of others come out of the woodwork a year later? This is still a relatively new machine. I personally think anyone who sells on ebay should fill out a questionare prior to selling advising ebay administrators how much they actually know about the item, and then get a reply reading, "post your ad" or "sorry, you''re destroying the hobby"

Ok, i know of the pole position one and have many pirate carts with spelling errors. I have an NTSC Joust cart, Joust text is in orange and the date is 1985, every bit the same as the silver cart on the rarity list except the date and the fact that it reads "1985 ATAR, CORP" This is by all means a real atari cart, Does the ATAR thingy show up often?
-
The most common here in aus is the JR, or rainbow edition as i call it. The rest from more to less common are as follows, vader 6 switch woody, light, No heavys here? 4 switch woody. I guess the 32 in 1 cart sold alot of ataris.

Hi All Ok, im wanting to mod the atari 7800 from 50hz to 60hz, I have 3 PAL 7800's, I can't find anything and im guessing it's not rocket science? Galaga plays really slow as does Ms Pac (slower than ntsc), Any help would be great. Not after a country lockout mod but just a 50 to 60 hz mod. Truth is almost all my consoles are japanese on the basis that the speed of pal annoys me, luckily the xbox and most cube games have this as an option.

found some 2600 carts on sunday, sprint master missile command winter games my golf 2 of those HES multi carts, and 7800 cart f18 Today for the SMS alex kid in shinobi world monaco GP 2 hang-on enduro racer Pretty good really,, aha, also pac-man for the NES, What a weird port that is.
-
All my 2600 carts seem to work on all 3 of my PAL 7800's, This obviously means activision ,etc. The only problem i have is fitting the carts into one of them, Its like it slowly squeezes the cart out, Most distasteful indeed.

Hello all After searching the net for ages i've come up with nothing,, I was wondering if anyone knows how to mod a master system 2 and a mega drive 2 to work at 60hz?? I dont want a switch but more a permanent 60hz for the machines. Any help appreciated.

I'm really liking the SMS, thanx megamanfan, The built in alex kid in miracle world was a bit of a shock.... Anyways, heres todays finds. 1 Famicom clone which looks like a SNES, Its called a superman and im still laughing. 1 Hanimex HMG-2650, This i beleive is the australian Arcadia? The pads have 12 buttons like the inty. The games are definately arcadia. This came with 5 boxed games with overlays.

Aha,, so have found a usefull thrift here. Today i picked up 10 nes ans 5 sms carts. The nes arent anything thrilling but the sms carts and boxes all have SEGA PROMO stickers on them,, No idea about sms carts but i like the machine,, They are time soldiers, strider, outrun, double dragon and Klax.

Alls i have managed to get my hands on since moving north to brisbane aus is a few master system carts. The thrift stores here really suck badly and im picturing that %50 of the population doesnt work and have discovered ebay. Anyways, 2 months ago before leaving sydney i picked up the following: PacMan - nes donkey kong - g&w almost every imagic game for inty - boxed with overlays, instructions 64 in one, 2600 cart with switches 32 in one, 2600 cart with switches and the rest that i can't remember now,,,,, o, nice to back online, and breathing

I finished choplifter in my second outing with the game,, Way too easy and quick i think. Pity really as the arcade version was heaps better,, i would have been a bit disappointed to spend full price for the cart in the day.

Are there any Colecovision gurus in here?
DeV0 replied to badbrad's topic in Classic Console Discussion
OK What you want is an atari pad, you know the 2 button one which was shipped with the 2600 junior and the 7800 in pal countries? It works a charm. Or rewire a genisis / master system pad. -
Heavy barrel is by far my most favorite.
