  1. Get both, then regret getting one of them. I wouldnt take the "making graphics better" for ps1 games to seriously. PS2 has a couple of pretty fine games, as does the box. If your into modding and emulation then the xbox is the way to go,

  2. Sega rally is still my all time favourite console racer, its what i'd call perfect. If you havent got it, get it now. Daytona cce is alot better then the 1st release, the handling is great and if you are from a pal country it was optimized for pal tvs so no letterbox, the original daytona has the most wicked letterbox effect , almost as crap as ffx on the ps2.

  3. A 1984 release of the 7800 with an on-board pokey chip probably would have seen atari last a bit longer. A built in title like Galaga or double dragon may have helped as well, as far as competition go's segas sc1000 which had already been released in japan wouldnt have hurt. I have no idea when the nes was released in the states but it certainly wasnt 84 here.

  4.

Yeah' date=' but that is part of the charm, it has a lot of continuity, at least its not as similar as OoT and Majora's Mask. Now THERE was a rerun![/quote']

Ok, my moan is trivial now that ive played long enough to really enjoy this title. The cel shading isnt quite as amazing as i thought, the sound isnt what I thought, but this games plays just fine.

  5. Wow, can i make you feel better by letting you know that i picked up a complete performa 6400 and a complete power pc at my local thrifts? Not to mention the power cd. Ok, this is a while back, im waiting for a good priced g3

But more importantly i got zelda windwaker limited edition with majoras mask for $10

You may have already won a free Gameboy Advance. I'll deliver it in person, and you have to sign for it. You may also feel a sharp pain in your neck, but it will pass as you lose consciousness.

Not quite, but i did buy a gold coloured (thats colored) gameboy pocket for 50 cents today.

  6. If we are to answer from different parts of the globe and pal or ntsc format then my top 3 rarest which have been proven to be pal are.

    1. pengo

    2. Roc N Rope

    3. ?????, i really dont know

    1.) Fair enough.

3.) I'd be inclined to say Steeple Chase or something. Can't remember the last time I saw one of them!

2.) Where did you get that from? They're about rarity 4 I'd say.

Maybe they're just much scarcer in Oz but on ebay.co.uk it's not rare at all - at least it wasn't!

The roc'n'rope picture here i believe to be the uk cbs version, I have never seen this here in oz, even when the 2600 was king. So you can get mouse trap and the other cbs commons but no roc'n'rope. Steeple chase is definately up there, never seen this before. I feel an urge to go the the states for a thrifting spree from west to east! Even if i only get spyhunter i'd be happy. Cause i know that aussie eally is a common cart in the us

  7. Yep, seen a few of these before,I own a couple with the difference being they are operated with dipswitches. It look like a cigarette pack with pacman on it.

I recently picked up a mega boy which is has a remote to connect of av cables, runs off batteries with 128 buit in games. The modem is ws-11, has anyone found one of these before? I'd like to know its origin.

  8. This really is not going to be possible to answer if the question is about 2600 carts world wide. I myself have seen an air raid and many other strange carts but never purchased them. I mean one of the rarest carts for me at the moment is ET. If we are to answer from different parts of the globe and pal or ntsc format then my top 3 rarest which have been proven to be pal are.

  9. I got my hands on ww today and am just about to start playing it, i did load it up when i got home with it to check it out. Looking forward to it for sure. Oot is one of the best zelda titles imho, iv finished the n64 cart a few times and even finished it emulated on the xbox. Im looking forward to ww as its the 1st zelda for a while and it looks pretty amazing.

I have 2 cubes, a blue and a black one. The black one has never frozen but the blue one i got for $10 as it had issues, as per usual messing with the pot on th cd player did the job nicely. It has frozen 2 or 3 times but nothing to big.

Speaking of which, has anyone finished eternal darkness? It has some crazu insanity effects, Like the blue screen of death whicg made me actually think there was an error

  10. I've said it a hundred damn times, and plenty of other people have too.

"My local thrift stores suck, there's never anything good at them."

It doesn't bear repeating or reminding. >_<
