That's a great license to have, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. So now the ultra-classic Tron arcade game might be on your Ultimate Home Arcade? Very nice!!! One might also think of the Atari Star Wars arcade games, but it's hard to imagine how they might be playable using standard arcade controls. Perhaps using a trackball might be acceptable (if not ideal.) Looking forward to hearing more details about this product!

Fairly happy with mine. Yeah, the spinner could be a bit nicer (the 'clickiness' isn't a welcome addition) and I kind of wish the resolution was higher. But it does look and play pretty well... I've certainly been enjoying it!

5200 HSC Season 12 Round 2 - Bounty Bob Strikes Back

My understanding is that it works with the new SD version, but not the older 128-in-1 version. -

Sorry to hear things haven't gotten better with that operator, he used to run a much tighter ship years ago.

Sorry I didn't have the time for a proper Galaxian-off this week. (Pretty sure you would have come out on top despite my best efforts anyway! )

There's less online stores than there used to be for this kind of stuff, but I think this one is still operating (I haven't ordered for a while though): http://www.collectorscardsandgames.com/new/Atari5200.html You'll have to email him and ask if he still has what you want, as that list clearly hasn't been updated in years. For some games, the prices may be good enough to be worth the extra effort though.

2600 "Taiwan Cooper" My Duplicates GONE
DamonicFury replied to atariUCLA24's topic in Free Games and More
Thanks for the confirmation on Bobby is Going Home! Pretty sure Open Sesame is the same game as "I Want my Mommy" by Zimag. Apparently, the PAL version of Open Sesame has a voice sample, which is cool, but the NTSC Taiwan Cooper version does not. 2600 "Taiwan Cooper" My Duplicates GONE
DamonicFury replied to atariUCLA24's topic in Free Games and More
I take it you collect these? I've recently become interested in the NTSC games that either went unreleased or are super-rare in the U.S. So far I've collected: Mission 3000 A.D. Mr. Postman Squirrel UFO (barely released in the U.S. as Condor Attack) I believe "Bobby is Going Home" and "E.T. Go Home" may also fall into this category. Can you confirm those did get NTSC Taiwan Cooper releases? Are there any others? -
Welcome to the 5200 HSC Season 12! Our season 11 champ, Northcoastgamer, as per 5200 HSC tradition, has selected our first five games to be chosen from. Pick your favorite! Poll closes Sunday, January 20th, 2019 @9pm EST at which time we'll be starting the new season.

Snail Vs Squirrel (Bit Corporation)
DamonicFury commented on DoctorSpuds's blog entry in DoctorSpuds Reviews Things
Many thanks for bringing this one to my attention! Just got the package from Venezuela today... nice to add a new, fun to play vintage 2600 game to the collection without breaking the bank! That doesn’t happen often anymore! -
Wow, yuck! Just curious, are these fairly obvious repros/fakes (like the one currently on Ebay) or something that someone might actually be fooled by (by putting it in a Quntana Roo case perhaps)?

Air Raid (Men-A-Vision)
DamonicFury commented on DoctorSpuds's blog entry in DoctorSpuds Reviews Things
Agreed! The $100 cap is a good one to have. I think I've only broken it once (fellow 5200 collectors will know EXACTLY for which game!) -
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/atari-5200/meteorites#completed-auctions-cib Phew, it really has gone up in the past few years, hasn’t it? Used to be fairly easy to get in box for under $99... not so much anymore.
