Heavy Sixer/boxed games/Sears Motocross FS
the 5th ghost replied to the 5th ghost's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
List updated. Thanks to those that have paid already. Those items will be shipped on Monday For the remainder of the boxed games, I'll take $30 plus shipping for the lot. That's less than $3 a game, which is basically a thrift store price (and you didn't have to use any gas!) -
Tricks to remove stickers from Atari boxes
the 5th ghost replied to tremoloman2006's topic in Atari 2600
Great job! Those early gatefolds also have the benefit of a glossy surface that helps in the removal process. I also use Goo Gone and have had plenty of success, but in some cases, I leave the original price sticker. Especially those ones on the original Pong units and heavy sixers. Those items were EXPENSIVE back in the day! I think it's cool to preseve those records of what things originally sold for. For example, I have a boxed Sears Heavy Sixer with the original Sears price tag of $169.99. Also, I have the 1975 boxed Sears Pong with the original price tag of $99.95! -
I have 7 different versions of Pong Sports in my collection. As for the high price? I bet some people must think that Pong Sports was the first Atari game or something. The word Pong sticks in people's heads so they think the cart is super-retro-cool!

Here's my latest batch of items for sale... Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer: Tested and works perfectly. Original Atari logo paddles (work perfect,) one CX-10 joystick (works) gatefold boxed 01 Combat, and original 1977 owner's manual. The original gray power supply is dead, but I'm including it as well as a perfectly working knock-off power supply. No switchbox, but I'm assuming the buyer has the means to connect it to the TV. Some paint wear, but overall very clean and undamaged. Has the channel select cut-out, but no switch (earlier transition model) SOLD Sears Motocross Sports Center IV: Tested and works perfectly. Very rare item that's in excellent condition. All four Sears paddles have been tested and work flawlessly (it appears that two of them were never used.) Original power supply and switchbox are included and both work (I'm throwing in the RF adapter.) Original box is solid and looks decent but has some dents on one corner, minor stains, etc. There is a little writing on the front and back. Original manual is missing. My 6 year old had a blast jumping the busses! SOLD Boxed games: all complete with manuals and tested Sears Football - 6-99827 version $4 Missile Command - $4 Golf - $4 Basketball - $4 Surround - $4 Circus Atari - $4 Home Run - $3 Combat - $4 Sky Diver - $4 Space Invaders - $4 Miniature Golf - $6 Boxing - Rare 1st version box, one of Activision's initial four games (Dragster, Checkers, Fishing Derby.) Includes correct manual and warranty card. There was no catalog with the original four games. The other games were pictured on the back of the manual. The cart still has most of the foam insert intact, but it is crumbly and I dare not insert it into my Atari. Box is in great shape, minimal wear. Label has glue spotting. $10 ON HOLD Loose carts: Sears Canyon Bomber - rare picture label version SOLD Video Olympics - green end label, includes Rev. 4 manual $2
