  1. Sunnyvale Atari 6 switch (with 1977 chess piece box) - #14649G A/B Channel Select hole, no switch.
  2. I recently managed to max the score on this. I agree, it is one of the better shooters for the VCS I went on to the 5200 version, but man does it get tough fast! I don't think I'll be maxxing that version
  3. In other words, a seller is less willing to end an auction that has already received bids. My advice, piss on as many interesting auction you can. Mark your territory. Don't simply hope that it will run its course in hopes of a late snipe to get it. I know most collectors simply put auctions on their "watch list," but a better thing to do is to place a bid on it right away.
  4. Thanks! I don't know why I didn;t think to look there first!
  5. I'm just curious if the game Blueprint is supposed to come with overlays. I know some of the CBS games do. Anyone? Pix? Thanks!
  6. There are even Sunnyvale made 4 switchers! I'm talking about the version with the woodgrain; I've never seen a Sunnyvale "Vader" model.
  7. All SOLD! Thank you very much to all that bought from me. Everything is going to be shipped on Monday that has been paid for up to this point.
  8. Thanks! If anyone was interested in the remaining lot of boxed games, I'll sell them all for $35 + shipping

  10. LOL The velvet Elvis...gotta love the king!
  11. My system growing up was the Sears Tele-Games, but I also like the packaging and the challenge of tracking down variants for Sears. But not to worry, my collection isn't relegated to strictly Sears! (and this still isn't everything in my collection )
  12. Cool game once you adapt to the controls and figure out how to clear each board. Basically, a skill game.
  13. My brother has the same machine that he was looking to get rid of. It's the widebody version too! But, being in Pittsburgh is probably too far for you.
  14. Do they improve gameplay at all? Cool find! I want one too now
  15. You're welcome to stop by! I have a car now. I just might do that! Absolutely!
  16. LOL Well, it's a self inflicted variant, so I have to keep it now! LOL
  17. 99 - 30 69 I had the computer at 24, and all I needed was a 4 pointer, but the fish wouldn't bite, and the computer eventually grabbed a 6 pointer. Then I caught my last fish.
  18. I love boxed Sears items! And I love to share pix! So far I have roughly 630 boxed games, not counting dups. That compared to an additional 316 loose carts. My boxed games outnumber my loose games I also collect boxed systems and controllers. To explain from a personal standpoint...I've always liked Atari. Maybe this is a way of holding onto an enjoyable part of my childhood, but I also feel that if anything is worth collecting, for whatever reason, make it as nice as possible. I think having all the original packaging helps enhance the satisfaction of owning an item from the past. Again, just my POV.
  19. I figured I wasn't the only one curious what was under that sticker, so I posted this just for the benefit of others to know. I was surprized that it came off so cleanly! Goo-Gone was all it took
  20. Maybe this is common knowledge, but... My curiosity got the better of me, so I tracked down an extra 6-99822 box with the large sticker on the front, and removed the sticker. Here's the mistake that got covered: 20 games, (instead of 16 games,) was originally printed on the front.
  21. I'd be happy to, but I would need help with that. I don't have the technical know-how, nor the proper equipment to convert my VHS tapes to DVD, then to a file format for Internet viewing. A friend of mine did this for my Pitfall! speedrun: pitfall_speedrun We even talked about doing the same for my perfect score on Pitfall II for the Atari 5200 (both quests = 504,000 points with a clean, error free run) But that never happened, and the tape is now in the hands of a TG ref. So, I would have to do it again! Anyway, as far as my Fishing Derby score goes, I am pretty quick to hook the fish, but every now and again, the shark becomes my friend and eats the computer's fish, thus keeping down his score while I pluck away! When those two factors combine, I get the scores you see. So when you really get down to it, there is some luck involved! Keep practicing hooking the fish, and I'm absolutely sure others will not only match, but beat my current best. Good luck!
  22. Well, I go for the deep fish. The higher the fish, the lower the points. So, it is in your best interest to go for the fish that are worth the most points. I have been recording my games, but as far as that 1st place score on Twin Galaxies goes, I'd only be beating myself I submitted that score (99 - 50) awhile ago. While I have now improved upon it, will there be somebody else here that can beat my 63?
