Absolutely Good eye! -
Here's the orange Indy 500 text cart. I don't have an orange Adventure though.

Ok, here's pix of the 1977 heavy 6'er chess piece box, alternate 4 switch woody (picture label Combat) box, and light 6'er Sears box. I wasn't sure if you wanted to see the Sears "pong" collection but here's what I have at the moment. -
Can anyone tell me if Basic Math had a regular box?
the 5th ghost replied to brucebidder's topic in Atari 2600
Here's the regular Basic Math (non gatefold.) Then there's the blue Fun With Numbers box, but I'm sure you already knew about that one. (If you want a pic of this one, I have it too.) I have never seen a non-gatefold Sears Math, so as of now, that one is not known to exist. If one popped up, I'd die -

I certainly do have a bunch of Sears stuff, but not much in the way of boxed systems. I have the boxed heavy and boxed light sixer. I don't have the boxed 4 switch or boxed Video Arcade II (ATARIPITBULL shows these) I've been trying to focus on the boxed Sears dedicated consoles lately, (like Pong, Speedway IV, Motocross Sports Center IV, etc.) I have a lot of those, but it sounded like you were just looking for pix of different VCS boxes. I guess you don't have a picture of the Sears light sixer, so I'll post one later. I also have a 1977 boxed Atari (with the chess piece) and a 4 switch woody variant not shown in the thread. -

What I noticed is that his shows the hunter on the spine, but no title. Mine has the title on both spines. -
Atari Boxed Collection Pictures! *Updated*
the 5th ghost replied to toymailman's topic in Atari 2600
Awesome collection! Two questions I have to ask: 1) Are there two different versions of the Skeet Shoot box? 2) What's up with the Sears "Slot Machine" box? Thanks for sharing the pix! -
Thanks, I've been looking for that box, but I wanted to be sure it was NTSC or not.

CIB Crash Dive on eBay...is this the PAL box? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=004

Who owns both wood finishes?
-
Yeah, now that I look closer, I see that it would work for a 2600. I just looked at the 8W and knew that was the same as my Pong adapters, while I have 2600 adapters that read 9W and above.

Boxed Atari games, loose carts, etc FS
the 5th ghost replied to the 5th ghost's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I had a boxed MASH game but recently sold it. The cart holder you speak of has the game's title printed on the side, so if you wanted it correct, you couldn't just use any old one. It would have to be a MASH one. BTW, the boxed games are still available! -
That's an original Pong power supply, not for the heavy sixer. Cool adapter, uncommon, but not super rare.

Donkey Kong - Original Button Colors?
the 5th ghost replied to doubledown's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Yep, the blue "player" buttons and orange "jump" button is the correct way. I once owned an original Donkey Kong cocktail machine, and just like what was already mentioned, those machines used blue and green buttons which were smaller than the upright machine buttons, and did not have the colored rings at the base of the buttons. -
Thanks! The Speedway IV racing game gets a hell of a lot faster than the Speedway II/Street Racer game as well.
-
Pictures of Speedway IV in action! ...and pix of my other Sears dedicated consoles. I'm still missing a few!
-
Absolutely. When I get home from work later... calfranklin... I do not think there is an Atari version of this console.
