    Ok Mark,

     

    I played a game of Enduro and made it to day 7 with 47 cars to to reach day 8 :)

     

    Not bad for the first game in a long time! I will try to improve upon that...

    The Space Dice level is the one with the falling meteors (actually looked like hunks of swiss cheeze to me as a kid :) )

     

    I also love Enduro but don't remember if I ever reached day 10, I will put some time into it and see what I can do!

    Nice score! That is one of the all time classic Activision games, great sound effects, cool visuals. I remember by brother getting this game for Christmas and how exciting it was to play, to be the first to reach the Space Dice stage...

     

    I personally maxxed out the score on this game 8) I just don't remember if it stops at 999,999 or if it just starts back to 0, it's been a long time. Once you get in the groove, it's pretty easy to do. Keep playin!

    Hello,

     

    I was just curious if anyone knows exactly how many of these Atlantis II carts were produced and sent to contestants for the shootout to make it to the finals of the Defend Atlantis contest.

     

    I am the owner the boxed copy that I sent to Alex so he could dump the ROM, post pix for the AtariAge archives as well as scan all the paperwork I have.

     

    Just curious how many more are floating around out there...

     

    Also I am looking for the Defend Atlantis T-shirt and scuba set that were contest prizes. If anyone has these that would like to trade or sell them, please contact me, I would be interested! :)

    I maxed out Kaboom! (999,999 points) during a marathon playing session at my brothers birthday party (got a patch too). Of course that was in the early 80's. After that I basically shelved the game for many years. Over the past couple of years I dusted off my paddles to practice for the Annual Atari Championship in Seattle. So far, I've only been able to get about 30,000 points. So, yes... I believe age does play a factor. The synapses aren't making the connections as fast as they once did. However, I still do pretty well with the joystick games.

    Did Activision send you anything special for reaching 999,999 on Kabbom! besides the Bucket Brigade patch??
