  1. Oh you’ve got nothing to apologize for. It was cute. I just had chance to think of this ordeal again and went spelunking. Just reminded me I had a copy of that image still and thought I may as well share the whole thing.
  2. Fuck it, I'm going to necromance this shit because looking at that... come back to the forums, post some, ignore the messages that I'd sent when you do so but sure, keep using this as your user icon. When I was dealing with Sloopy back when this shit went down(and he never sent my shit back, but oddly sent me some neat items I hadn't solicited) he made a joke about how some people are nuttier than squirrels because he told someone not to send cash in the mail and they sent quarters because that's not cash it's coins. I included this drawing in a box of some of said items. Anyway, good night.
  3. Wow, necromancing a ten year old marketplace thread to ask a technical question. Lol well, I don’t remember, but I’m sure it’s in the user manual which can still be downloaded from the place I bought the RAM and DSP adapter for it. Just go to Tototek.com. The manual is linked in the description for every Gamedoctor sf7 related product they sell.
  4. At $325 on craigslist, I wouldn't call it anything other than a fair price, and I didn't really need another Apple II already having a ][+, Platinum //e, //c, and a IIgs, but the monitor made it too hard to say no. I'd been watching for the particular crt model for a while and it was the first one that wasn't some ebay listing all the way across the country where I could easily spend upwards of $200 just to get a smashed monitor in a minty looking cardboard box because it was shipped by some moron who couldn't follow some basic instructions on why/how to doublebox and properly cram packing filler around a crt for shipment. Behold, a 1hr round trip apple //e with missmatched Disk ][ and a very nice burn-in-free Amdek Color-I plus. The //e had school identification scratched into the side while the Amdek had it on the back. Ultimately not really a big deal to me... unlike the huge WA DL number dug into the front of my 512Ke Mac.
  5. We could meet up at Jedi Alliance. https://spokanearcade.com/
  6. Behold the membermap: https://atariage.com/forums/membermap/ I am now depressed again.
  7. So they're going to do PRGE in August this year instead of the usual October. Hopefully this year I'll be able to budget for it. It's been a few years since I've been able to go.
  8. Oh, I do have a... few... other CRT televisions and video monitors of various size and eras, this is just one of my favorite pickups. It's RF only yet it has a very nice picture in spite of that. The NES is hooked up using the original Nintendo automatic RF-switch.
  9. Well aren't you lucky, you can download the full Service Manual for that model free of charge.
  10. Hi, Been a while since I've made a post here. how about some pictures of one of the numerous TV's in the basement? This is a 1988 Sony KV-1926RA. Eventually someday, I'll be ready to post photos of the actual game room.
  11. This is cool shtuff. Will have to try popping it in my IIgs tomorrow just for grins.
  12. I got a Coleco Adam expansion for the Colecovision once. Found it somewhere local cheap but it didn't have the printer which is where the power supply was located. I tried to look up getting it working sans printer but couldn't find anything really difinitive on what I needed to power it without the printer so I said f*ck it and sold it off instead. But as to anything I really got heavily into? No. I'm too much of a pack rat to do that.
  13. Woah. The forums are like different now and stuff.

The profile pages are pretty slick looking. I went and updated to add a banner to mine.

After the new year I might be coming by a lot more often as I think I will be getting more serious about getting back into dealing with projects and stuff to do with the hobby that I had to put on the back burner a few years ago.

  14. I guess my most irrational want is an Apple Lisa in working order. Followed up with an Apple ///.
  15. My desk is so clean I can see the top of it.. like all the top of it. This is so alien.

  16. Bought parts off Rob for a Coleco Combat TV game. All around good transaction.
  17. Might want to update your links in the main post. None of them work anymore. http://atariage.com/forums/store/
  18. I ordered some special video cables from some place a few years ago. After two weeks of no shipments and no email replies I just put in a PayPal dispute and got my money back.
  19. So I’ve got a coleco combat console but one of the joystick handles is missing. I’m looking to either buy a parts system or maybe mail in a sample to someone who could render a 3D printable model.
  20. The Tapatalk app is utter trash. Gave me a Post error and said it couldn't make the post, but it actually did post. So I wound up with this double post. See this topic: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/276839-wtb-joystick-handle-for-coleco-combat-original-or-3d-printed/
  21. So this has been an issue for a while: I'll go to atariage.com and click on the forums link. Then I'll go to log in and firefox will pop up a message over the login form saying the connection isn't secure instead of autoentering my login info. So I check the url and it's not using https. So I add https:// to the beginning of the url and hit enter/return. Now I have a secure connection. So I enter my login. Main forum page reloads, still says it's using https... But if I click through to anything else on the forum it is again not using https. I typically use Firefox and am running the latest stable release. No beta or anything like that. The website also behaves the same way on chrome, though chrome isn't as fussy about auto entering login details on an insecure form.
  22. Ah, the morning has come and as such, I must be getting to bed. Overnight work is such a blast. Really.

Too bad my work contracts are always short and I always wind up with months of no work. If I could swing real regular work at the hourly rate these jobs paid I could actually have something resembling a 'normal' life.

  23. A week away from completing the electronics workbench area in the storage room and pipe burst in an upstairs bath, saturted the ceiling in a downstairs bedroom and funneled water through the air ducts to rain out over the shelves I was using to store eqiupment on.
