  1. Did they ever release a USB dongle for using their wireless NES and SNES pads with computers? I'd never realized Messiah went out of business until recently... not that shocking though.
  2. Odyssey^2 parts/accessories needed: 1 "hardwired" controller 3 Power supplies for consoles with "hardwired" controllers These can be NES power supplies too. 1 Power supply for console with detatchable controllers(it uses a different type of connector) Shipping would be to zip code 98042 Thank you.
  3. This system is the one with the hardwired controllers.... except it has no controllers. It also does not have a plug at the end of it's RF cable... it's power switch is not connected to the main board... and it's rather scratched up and it does not come with a power supply. I do not know the back story on this unit... It came with a bunch of other nicer systems and I just do not have the desire to try to get it going since it is not very nice to look at. I figured I'd post it here for now should anyone be interested before I drop it off at a computer recycler/reseller. I am asking $0.00 + S/H from 98042.
  4. I'm selling have sold my Game Doctor SF7. It has two 64M ram cards installed and has the Blue DSP adapter for DSP1 support. I'm also including the CD ROM unit which is supposed to connect via parallel cable. Comes with power adapters for both copier and the CD ROM drive. It has had an internal jumper changed so that it defaults to English at start. I've been able to use it with floppies, I've been able to copy games from cartridge to floppy. I've been able to use utilities to load ROMs onto floppy from a computer and then load those games on it. I couldn't figure out how to make game saves work with games like Super Mario World. I do not know how to make a CD for this thing so I have no idea if the CD ROM drive works. SuperNES not included. Asking $75 + S/H from 98042 Give your SNES the gift of load times!
  5. The "special high capacity tape" on the box looks like a GBA cartridge.
  6. I'm was selling a Sega Saturn. This iswas the earlier one with the oval buttons. It comes came with two controllers. One is was the American model from Sega and the other is was third party. Also included is were one power cable and one A/V cable for composite video. Comes came with one unopened battery for save RAM. Comes Came with NiGHTS. Just the disc in a saturn jewel case with manual, no rear insert. I'm was asking $39 + S/H from 98042 If you stare into this long enough he'll eat your soul.
  7. What we have here is a TI 99/4A computer. It is the later beige plastic model. What you get is a box with a computer in it in a styraphome insert with Power supply and RF Modulator/switch. Included will be one Tombstone City cartridge. I think the pictures speak well enough for the overall condition of the computer, but I don't mind questions. I should mention that one side of the box has big letters written on it in some kind of white marker... not shown in the pictures because it's hidden by the flap of the box top. As far as testing: all keyboard keys work well, game port was tested with a Wico Atari controller adapter and one CX40. I could not get the RF modulator to work on my only TV with screw terminals so I just borrowed the A/V cable from my own personal 99/4A so I could test it. You could probably use the cable from the RF modulator to make an A/V cable if the modulator simply won't work. I am asking $36 + S/H ... Box will of course be in another box. This computer ships from the 98042 zip code and I am not totally adverse to shipping outside the US.
  8. Sold him computer stuff... Was very nice to deal with. Even paid an extra couple bucks to cover paypal fees, which I didn't ask for. I wasn't even aware paypal had added fees for payments made to basic accounts.
  9. I have that model of Saturn. I bought the mod and could not get the bloody thing to work in my Saturn. Wish I could send the system and mod to someone else to see if maybe I just suck at installing the stupid thing... now I'm not even sure where the mod is right now... in some drawer somewhere. Racketboy is a good dude. The first time I modded a Saturn it wouldn't work and he exchanged it no questions asked. They are cheap import boards made in mass so they are frequently dead. AX I know... I just gave up after the second one.

  11. I found big dead daddy long leg spiders in an Atari 2600 once... I cleaned it up all shiny and sold it to someone where who will never know how filthy that thing was... the exterior of that case was so filthy it stained the rag I used to clean it and I was using scrubbing bubbles on it. I got a package that someone threw in a couple extra games once... the extra games were so gross... I think they had like cocoons in them from caterpillars or something in them and the labels were obviously water damaged... they were so gross.. oh and the contacts were rusted... They were so gross I just decided to toss them.
  12. There will always be people who do not get it. There will also be people who are too clueless to pack properly. If it can be screwed up, there will be someone who will screw it up. I try to contact sellers regarding purchases prior to bidding when it doesn't look like they're regulars at selling the type of item I'm bidding on. If I don't get a reply back I don't go for it... There have been times when I've contacted afterward, but only in cases where the BIN was too good to let time lapse on. Recently I bought a 5200 on ebay and asked that they make sure to pack it with plenty of padding. It came with plenty of padding... shredded news paper... but the thing wasn't wrapped in anything so the news paper got into every single little nook and cranny. That was rather annoying as I had to take it apart to clean out the ports, sockets, and the interior... but at least it didn't get banged up... still... could have put it in a trash bag first.
  13. I finished Mario Galaxy 2 on the Wii on New Years Eve. With 2 hours to go until midnight I went upstairs after dinner and proceeded to start sifting through Failblog and started sifting deeper into old posts. The next thing I knew it was 1AM. Another year gone by...
  14. Gotta love a game which can accommodate up to 10 players on one system. I managed to actually get 5 people together to play the game on a 37" Sony WEGA CRT set once a few years back. Talk about chaos on screen. It was awesome. Usually I'm lucky to get just one person to play it with... It would be awesome to actually be able to get a 10 player game going... but who has that many friends who would be just as interested in it? So yeah.... Saturn Bomberman is a must... but if you get it, do make sure to track down the two 6 player multi-taps... or at least just one so you can get up to 7 players.
  15. The bulk of my Sega Saturn collection. I walked into a goodwill and just about got whiplash walking past the glass case.. just over 40 games, in nice jewel cases... few sports titles, $1.99 each. That or perhaps my 5 ft Sonic plush I got for $7.99 I dunno... he's not in perfect shape... got some repair stitching.
  16. Well, obviously you should get Sonic CD if you don't already have it... otherwise off the top of my head the only game I can think of to recommend is .
  17. Well it seems that is rather hard. Personally I'd love to change out the box art on all my SMS games for the Japanese versions which are generally always a lot higher quality work. That said I did manage to find one site with what I think would qualify as print-worthy scans. Unfortunately there are only 15 scans for the SMS posted there... still that's 15 scans... http://gamescanner.org/
  18. You say that like it's a bad thing. The lamp only exists because all the 'built in' lighting in my game room is literally on the opposite side from the media shelves, meaning one gets in one's own light trying to find a game. And I will never move my gaming stuff into the dining room... the dining room table is what I use as a workbench. I guess that works... totally understand the lopsided lighting issue as I have experience with that. Really I guess those swag lamps were often as reading lights in living rooms too. But dining room table = workbench? I would totally get slaughtered if I did that. I've managed to set things up so I have a drop lid desk which I use with my laptop computer that also doubles as a work bench. I pulled it out of my parent's garage, cleaned it up, painted it, and made a little insert for it. For the big heavy stuff though there is a work bench out in the garage.
  19. Very nice, was it missing anthing? everything no legs & the eye shroud The legs suck anyway. Just get a desk lamp, change out the springs for stronger ones, remove the lamp head, and screw the VB on in it's place. If you can find a lamp that is either red or black, that's a plus because it'll look like it's meant to be that way. Like what this guy did
  20. Full on version. No ColecoVision Required. It looks like I've got a pending sale on it, so I think it's taken.
  21. Hi, I have a Coleco Adam I think I would like to just sell off. I picked it up without the printer but it did come with the joysticks and keyboard figuring I could rig something up to power it sans-printer but never got around to it and don't think I really feel like it now that I have a working Colecovision. Anyway I'm asking $25. If anyone is shows interest I'll pull it out and post some pictures of it. I think it looks ok, though it may be yellowed... I don't really know what shade it's supposed to be new. Would be shipping from Kent, WA 98042 and would probably not be able to ship it any earlier than Wednesday of next week.
  22. It's definitely 70s... It just seems a little too "my game collection took over my dining room" to me.
  23. I recently actually found something other than a sports title at Goodwill. I picked up a 4switch woody 2600 a few days ago... just the console. It was labeled $19.99 but it was an orange tag and guess what...Orange was on 50% off which brought it down to a better price. Today I spent $6 on an Atari CX40 joystick at another Goodwill... normally that would seem kind of high for a goodwill purchase of such a joystick but I excused it because it was an odd find as the thing looked and felt like it had almost never been used. Other than that I don't really find much to do with video games at thrifts these days. I miss when I would walk in and find stacks of NES games and no dupes at $5 each.
  24. Pretty much what Austin suggested... I installed shelves in the closet in the room with all my video games. They're cut to the shape of the closet and extend the full depth.... I set up a couple computers on one shelf and then above that I have two shelves which are full of plastic rubermade type bins. Each bin has controllers for one particular system. Storing controllers is a pain in the ass and you need to keep things sorted and separated. You also should make a point of bundling the cords so they can't try to have an orgy in the box... Something like this can be good for that. Not that it's really needed, but this is a photo of the closet... it's a little bit messy because I'm in the middle of reorganizing.... obviously the huge controllers like those based off of arcade sticks or driving wheels don't really fit in the bins, but most everything else will.
