I don't think it's Gil Kane--not angular enough. The style of the clothes, etc. makes me think of George Perez.

Try going to the following members.tripod.com/classic-videogames/intellivision/index.htm They have scans of the magazine there.

Well, if the pic to the left doesn't give a clue to my favorite... but I am also very fond of HERO, Chopper Command, Haunted House, and Adventure.

Thanks for the tip!

A question from someone relatively new to this forum. What is the best way to go about finding and possibly purchasing the patches Activision used to award gamers who sent in screenshots? I've been looking on e-bay for the last month but haven't seen anything yet. I remember playing in the early 80s and liking them but never sending in any pics when I could have earned them. The follies of youth I suppose! Any help would be appreciated.

Like someone above said, you really can't go wrong with Imagic's games for the Intellivision. I had quite a few of them before the crash but later sold everything. About five years ago when I started rebuilding my collection, I knew these were some of the games I most wanted in my collection; have them all now. Imagic offered some very good variety. Activision also had some great games for the system, especially the ones they did not port over from the 2600. Try Beamrider, Happy Trails, and certainly The Dreadnaught Factor. When I first had the system, I did not have many Mattel games, but there are some great ones there as well. I have very fond memories of Burgertime for Intellivision when it was released as well as the first Dungeons and Dragons game. Other good ones I later discovered are Shark! Shark! and Thin Ice. Any of these are worth a look. Hey I finally stopped lurking and posted!
