  1. :_( :_( Maybe you'll get the eBay one. (Fingers crossed!)
  2. Math Gran Prix is sooooo 1982 Red Sea Crossing is where it's at now! Seriously, that RSC game looks so fun (it's the style of game I like) I'd pay some $ just to get a ROM to put on my Harmony. I really hope I get a chance to play it.
  3. Here are what the games look like: (There's been a Gone Fishin' on eBay for awhile, but the shipping is too high and it's in terrible shape)
  4. I know. That (Post #33) didn't make any sense to me, either. It made sense to us. Who's "us"?
  5. Whenever there is press for ONE rare game, another one turns up. As you may recall Tanman found HIS Air Raid cause he went searching in his house after hearing that housewife who listed her kids old NES and 5 boxed games on EBay, only to find out one the games was the rare Bandai Stadium Events! Other rare games turned up due to the press of that one also. Has there been much press for Red Sea Crossing outside the classic gaming community? Probably the eBay one is more likely to generate press but we need people who aren't interested in classic games to see these auctions and think, "Hey, I remember playing that game...I think I still have it boxed up in the attic."
  6. Several Air Raids popped up on eBay after Tanman's sale.

  8. Was that the reserve? I missed when it was finally met. That was what nagn2 meant by "a little lower than my highest private offer"? I was wondering if $9,999.99 was the reserve.

  10. Just curious what you guys think (I know the answer won't be the same for everyone). How much more do you think Medium Bob's cartridge is worth based on the better label? Say nagn2's reserve is $6,500. I don't know if it is, that is just my guess. Obviously Medium Bob's reserve is higher than that by at least $600. I guess, if you have the kind of money to bid that much on a cartridge, a few hundred dollars isn't much, but, there must be a point where the better label premium is no longer worth it. Well, I was wrong about the $6,500 reserve. At $7,250 now and still the reserve is not met. This really surprises me in nagn2's case. It's no longer one of a kind and it is the one in worse condition and the Birthday Mania offer price is still not enough :? What kind of "offers" have both sellers been getting if that is on which they're basing the reserve? If I was legitimately offered over $7,000 for a cartridge I got for next to nothing, I'd take it and screw the auction hassles.

  12. All the bidders so far on Medium Bob's cartridge have excellent feedback. The bottom one with the 1002 feedback is me
  13. Interesting that this one is higher already ($5,900) and his reserve is not met either. I wonder what kind of offers these guys got pre auction, must have been pretty good if nearly 6k still doesn't break the reserve. I wonder if they're going off the bottom Facebook comment:
  14. When cart sells for this much the shipping should be for free. I contacted them via Facebook and they didn't realize shipping prices were coming out so high for different places. Here's what they posted: "I put in 3 day delivery, maybe I input the info wrong. Hopefully $25 will not dissuade the potential winner. wink" I pointed out that it was coming out $62.89 in Austin, TX. They thought that was weird and were going to look into it. After looking into it they posted: "So, I just got off the phone with ebay. They said because there are bids I can not edit the listing without cancelling it. Therefore I will adjust the price in checkout. Sorry, my brain isn't too smart when it comes to computers and such."
  15. Wow! It's already ahead of the first auction in $. I will be very disappointed if neither reaches the reserve. If one reaches the reserve, though, it will be Medium Bob's. It's nice seeing the end label--also in better condition than the first cart found.
  16. Just my opinion but I don't think it's very courteous to post this in Nagn2's auction thread. I realize it's going to get noticed regardless but still. Yeah, that's why I posted in the Flyer thread when I saw that the auction was listed (but didn't post the link).
  17. I contacted them about the shipping. They're looking into it. I don't think they realized how much it was for certain parts of the country. They thought it was $25.
  18. It's on! Medium Bob's just listed their auction on eBay! Just placed the first bid! A whopping $300! Dang! Didn't reach the reserve! That's OK. I bid before I saw the shipping price of $62.89! Are they sending it in a metal crate?
  19. Haha! How could someone screw that up? I had a review for Handeze therapeutic support gloves on Amazon. Years later, I clicked on "Comments" and saw I had comments on that review. Turns out, customers were puzzled because the page was changed and now advertised stool softeners of all things!
  20. Looking for both those games in good condition (not a ton of cracks and scratches). Looking for Gone Fishin' with the instructions sticker on the back (not sure if an instructions sticker came with Obstacle Course).
  21. I have a small collection of Tomy Pocket games. For being so small and not requiring batteries, they are pretty fun. There was a lot of variety and creativity in them. Tomy made all kinds of games the same size. I had a few as a kid: Tic Tac Score (yellow) was the first one I had. A series of metal balls were launched through a shoot like a pinball machine and you'd try to guide them into certain numbered slots to make three in a row. Speedway: I don't know how it works. It probably uses magnets. You'd turn a dial and the cars start moving on the track. Pop-Up Pirate: A pirate is hiding inside a barrel. There are swords you push in and (like Russian Roulette) one will trigger the pirate. Bi Plane Battle: Feed metal balls into a bi-plane and aim it towards the enemy. Hit it just right, and the enemy will move across a bar until it hides behind an explosion sticker (meaning it is blown up). Horsing Around: There is an inside horse and an outside horse and a wheel. Spin the wheel and where it stops is how many spaces one of the horses advances (or goes back). Pac-Man: Catch metal balls with Pac-Man to score. I've added a few more through eBay. Here's a photo of my collection (Tic Tac Score, Pop-Up Pirate, and Bi-Plane Battle are at my parent's house).
  22. You still use it? That reminds me of something I saw a while back. People were bringing old computers to coffee shops and filming people's reactions. They'd have to carry all the parts on a dolly and hook up the monitor, hard drive, keyboard, mouse, etc. I don't know if they were making fun of laptop users or what the point was. Does anyone have a photo of the carrying case box to post?
  23. Yeah, I had to search Yeah, that's pretty sneaky. Worthy of reporting, in my opinion. Yeah, I had to take a little time searching to find the shipping and that was only because nofrills100 mentioned it and I was curious. There's a Tomy Pocket game I've been eyeing (Fishing one). It's in lousy condition, but I really want that particular one. The seller constantly changes the minimum bid and Buy It Now price. The shipping, however, is $9.99 "Economy". Probably most of you know Tomy Pocket games, but they are small enough to fit in your pocket. Not "small" by today's standards, of course. Still, it would cost less than $3.00 First Class in a padded envelope. Now the seller has it paired with an electronic Football game, but there is a photo of a different Fishing game in much better condition than the one he or she's had for sale all this time. I inquired about it, and the seller just responded there was only one Fishing game. Didn't address the discrepancy in the photos at all. I'll wait for a better one.
