Upped my Midnight Magic score a little, but not enough to get me an additional bonus point. 125,889

Funny, my first go-around with the bonus game, I got around 13,000 total. My second go-around, I got almost 85,000 on the first ball! That's how the pinball bounces. Video Pinball 149,999 Looks like I need to get my Midnight Magic score up if I want extra bonus points.

Toyshop Trouble: Reached a new toy! 13,512

This game is crazy hard! I kept getting only 30 points until I realized you could switch shooters, LOL. After that revelation, I increased my score, but not by that much. 95

Played this once through for a point: 55,569 Yeah, I agree with the previous posts. Smaller jack-o-lanterns would be better so they don't nip at your heels immediately on some screens.

What I mean is, he seems to be saying in his post that he got 32.5 at a live show and, rightly, believed it to be legitimate. Only after it was proven the score is impossible did he think that, perhaps, it was a different, earlier version of the game. Yes, the score should not count, but he wouldn't have known that at the time.

No one here is buying that it was an unfinished game where he achieved 32.5?

Wow! Thanks for the tips! I've reset the Chainsaw game a lot if my first two kills aren't quick and easy, but I'll try those other tips you mentioned, The Toyshop tip is very useful, too. I didn't know about the bonus points.

I don't think Texas Chainsaw Massacre is as bad as some people say. I read the Video Game Critic's review and don't agree with most of it. I'm wondering if there is a strategy for approaching the victims. I noticed that some die quickly while others keep getting away causing Leatherface to use up fuel. I've tried different ways. I've revved up the saw right before making contact with the victim, a little before, and I've hid out of her view until close enough to surprise her with the chainsaw with varying results. I haven't succeeded enough with any of these strategies. Maybe it's just random.

I've got some catching up to do with the list. I'm finally moved in and settled so, next days off next week, I'll see if I can get this thing updated.

My parents bought it for me from the Sears Wishbook for Christmas 1983, I think. There was a rebate offered in the Wishbook which finally convinced them to get it. It was a Telegames, of course, four switch. It came with Asteroids and Pac-Man.

I upgraded mine when I found a better copy. I know I have a few of the exact cartridges I had when I was a kid because I know I never got another copy (i.e. Jawbreaker, Tapper, etc.). Others I know I upgraded like the Tele-games text label Asteroids I got with my Tele-games console which I gladly swapped for a picture label. Others I can't be sure if they are from my original collection or upgrades. It never bothered me to upgrade cartridges for some reason. Other things are a different story. There's a few record albums I will always keep including Gene Simmons's 1978 solo album in crappy condition because I remember my mother buying it for me in a local book store for 50 cents. I have a much better copy with poster and inserts, but will always keep that one, too. I'd say, if it is a difficult decision right now, keep both and see how you feel about it through the years. As I've gotten older, I find myself less attached to material things and have begun a culling out process getting rid of items I never thought I would. I, all of a sudden, got tired of all the stuff and these days, with everything going digital, you can still have the music, videos, books, games without all the stuff. I will be contemplating what to get ride of from my Atari collection eventually since I have a Harmony cartridge.

Thanks a lot for the info! I really appreciate it. I requested a relocation with the company I work for, so I have a job right away. I'm just tired of living in Texas and want to move closer to California, where I'm from. I've always wanted to live in Arizona. I drove through Flagstaff on my way to Austin and wished, at the time, I was moving there instead. It is so beautiful. I like the southwest. So, when the opportunity to relocate presented itself, I went for it.

How do you like it there? Pros and Cons?
