Yeah, that's what I think. Plus it would devalue the limited edition cartridge somewhat. I just wanted to play the games because the whole concept was intriguing, I'm OK with playing it on a CD. They aren't action games or shoot 'em ups where it would be cool to use the authentic joystick. There's not much activity at all, so the space bar and arrow keys suffice. His price was reasonable enough as he sold out his limited edition stock; whether the buyers were Atari fans, poem enthusiasts or art collectors.

Excellent review, Supergun! Thanks for posting it! I was very intrigued by this game when I saw the video footage of the game play. There are lots of different screens and enemies and looks like an above-average Atari 2600 game. Glad to hear such good things about it and am looking forward to playing it. It should be arriving soon.

OK, I'm in the process of updating this list. Now that I have MS Excel, I think I'll start using it for this. Several members posted second (or 5th, in one case!) lists since my last update. One posted his first list 8 years ago (!). It was the 7th post in this thread. He probably forgot about it. Anyone who states, "in no particular order" chose the order anyway, because I am scoring the games based on the order they were listed (there must be a reason a game was listed first--subconsciously it's your favorite, at least that's how I'm going to score it). Again, hacks, homebrews, and super chargers that I recognize as such will be ignored and games under them on the list will move up in the ranking accordingly.

I'm not worried! It's something to look forward to. I think it's going to be a very fun game, too, based on the video demos.

I'll be having a few little staycations coming up these next two months, so I can try and finally update the standings.

I understand about fraud. Not everyone will know about the repros and may not notice a note on the label and get swindled.
