  1. It was never stated when the cartridge was offered for sale that the label would look like the original.
  2. Awwww, coloring page! I might change my mind about the extras now.
  3. Wow! This is getting really intriguing. It's not that Brazilian student's virginity, is it? (LOL, just kidding)
  4. I had the first bid for the eBay Red Sea Crossing. It was cool until I kept seeing notices that I was outbid and better bid again so I don't miss out as it was climbing into the $1,000s. Every time I'd see it I was like, "Duh!"
  5. If it's not a manual, maybe it's a letter or order form from the rep on how to order copies (just an idea I'm throwing out there, I have no idea what the surprise is, but am looking forward to finding out).
  6. Just found this thread. Congrats on an amazing find! The game looks flawless and the quote above makes the auction even more intriguing.
  7. I've been following this auction for weeks. First, the seller just had a Gone' Fishing Tomy Pocket Game which I would've been interested in if if weren't in crappy condition. The seller kept lowering the minimum bid, but raised the shipping price. At one point, the minimum bid was only $1.99 but the shipping was $9.99 "Economy Shipping", which is ridiculous for something that small and light. Now the seller has paired the fishing game with a 2000 reproduction of the Mattel electronic football game. First the seller had the shipping at $12.99. Now, I see the minimum bid dropped all the way to $0.99, so I wondered what the shipping would be. $17.99 "Economy Shipping"!!!! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 180974606497
  8. 3. Thou shalt not utter a word of curse when colliding with thine obstacles. (actually, if the manual is made like this, I might go for it )
  9. Would creating a box and manual delay the release of the cartridge or would they be sent separately at a later date?
  10. I don't want a manual and box. Steve Stack is quoted as saying in one of the threads that the original did not come with manual and box and that the game was easy enough to play without instructions. If a box and manual are made, I think it should be optional.
  11. 49,180 I can't get past the Hammer Throw either.
  12. I'm surprised how many people want all the flaws in the repro label. I can understand if the label on the other cart looked like that, too. Then it would mean that's just how the labels turned out, but we know now that is not the case. It was just a terrible print job on that one or it bled through later.
  13. Don't copy the double stamp, or whatever that was. Clean it up, like Medium Bob's cart.
  14. I hope it looks like the original label but NOT with the flaws.
  15. That would explain why he posted that he'd guarantee that Medium Bob's reserve was 15K. He probably thought they got the same offer.
  16. On Medium Bob's Facebook page: Looks like they'll be getting the publicity they wanted. I was thinking it would've been better before the auction ended, but it may cause another cartridge to surface, who knows? And nearly 14K is pretty sweet.
  17. Do you have enough cartridges? I have a few duplicate Atari-style cartridges I'd like to donate if needed.
  18. Payment sent! I'm very excited about this game! Thank you for offering it!!
  19. OMG!!! I didn't see that! Thank you so much! I just sent payment!
  20. We don't know if it's being repro'd. I don't think anyone knows who the buyer was yet. But, as I mentioned above, a buyer can get someone else to do the repro.
  21. You can buy the game and send it to someone who can make the repros.
  22. I want to play this game! It doesn't have to be a reproduction. A ROM on my Harmony is fine. I just want to play it. If repros are made, though, I will definitely want to buy one.
  23. I guess you haven't been reading the past 10 pages of this thread...or the other two threads on the subject? One guy finds the game. No one has seen it before. The programmer is found and says don't release it so he doesn't. 100s ask for the dump anyway. Other state they will dump the cart and make copies if they end up with the cart. Then a second cart turns up. The first cart is sold on game gavel. The second one is now on eBay. What did I miss? A lot of legalese about what could happen to the person who makes reproductions. Edit: spelling
