Going to have to open up a game I got for Christmas to check the board. Definitely not in the original shell. Not a super expensive game (PriceCharting puts it at about $35 loose), but gotta investigate.

  It's the War of the Gems... Marvel superhero game for SNES. I wouldn't think it would be a big target for reproduction, but who knows. When I first opened it, I noticed the label was crooked, but didn't really look closely at it until last night. Haven't tried playing it yet.
