  1. First attempt this round - 676,638 - blew a lot of lives on the yellow triangle level.
  2. Awesome!. I knew I saw screenshot of this recently!
  3. I dont know if it is compatible with the PSPGo, I suspect it may not be. There may be other upscalers that are compatible with the PSPGo,just do a search for pspgp upscaler.
  4. I bought a PSTV just for Tempest when I had some accumulated Best Buy Rewards and it was on sale. I wish getting PSP backups on it was an easier affair and have forgone attempting to do so for now. I have a shelf full of PSP discs that I have backed up and put onto my PSP. As others have noted, PSP UMD discs are cheap to find right now. For the PSP, Amazon currently has the following at really cheap prices: PSP Upscaler: http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PSPHD42-Connector-Converter-Up-Scaling/dp/B0038AERAI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443966731&sr=8-1&keywords=psp+upscaler PSP Grip http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Hunter-Portable-Hunting-PSP-Sony/dp/B00462Q5XY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443966807&sr=8-1&keywords=psp+grip This is the solution I use and it works really well. The upscaler price fluctuates quite a bit; the current 29.99 is the lowest I have seen it (I got mine when it was 45). The only down side is that the cable is tight fit when using the grip. I've never understood why PSP cable plugs have always been made to go sideways. Below are some screenshots of my setup with a PSP 2000 on a 28" Insignia HDTV in 720P. The first photo is before the upscale, the seccond, after.
  5. Ditto this! I picked up the remainder of that RPi lot for a very reasonable amount.
  6. Open box Intellivision Flashback, complete - $12.50 :-) Just in time for building up another Ultimate Intellivision Flashaback with an RPi2!
  7. Ditto the sentiments about not shutting down the site. Order just placed for Ms.NS rom and Ultimate interface as I get ready to build up a RasbPi2.
  8. 6218 If you want to help avoid the 'scrollies' when looking away from the game, press '0' after starting the game to stop the background scrolling. Seems to help me quite a bit.
  9. Any chance that a Nomad version is sill in the works?
  10. I believe OdysseyX is the name of the emulator for a modded Original XBox.
  11. I don't need the keyboard, PM'd for the rest.
  12. 5822 - Trying to find at least what little groove I ever found last season, lol!
  13. Thanks to all for the suggestions with my RR CD. I will definitely revisit the idea of being able to play it. I still think my JagCD needs some attention though; while it fires up other CDs with no issues 99% of the time, once in a while the laser mechanism will just attempt to move a tiny bit when it is fired up and then stop, as though it is stuck somehow (position is towards the center), but so far, after a few on/off resets it always seems to correct itself and work just fine (with everything but RR).
  14. I decided to make the leap from an older retropi (pre 2.6) up to the latest version(3) so its been a learning process. I havent tried there and it now kind of looks like an AdvMame directory. The o2rom.bin bios file goes in a directory call BIOS under /home/pi/RetroPie/ now. There is also a ROMS directory that has each system where games go. One place to find the voice files can be found here: http://atarihq.com/danb/o2.shtml. Most references to the O2 in this new version (directories) is via 'videopac' rather than 'odyssey2'. Had to do a reinstall from RetroPie-Setup to get O2EM to run, but it runs perfectly. It sees both a StellaDaptor Joystick and the VisionDaptor with the Intellivision controller just fine. I'd just gotten so used to hearing the music and voice on games like KC and Turtles that they seem 'naked' without them and was hoping this might work with this. There is the possibility that it isnt supported yet in this version of O2EM which apparently has been ported as a libretro core (I think I have the terminology down correctly).
  15. If you feel inspired and electronically inclined: http://www.old-computers.com/magazine/view.asp?r=1&a=14
  16. Has anyone been able to get the O2 Voice to work with O2EM on the RPi? I've tried putting the voice directory in all the places I could think of and tried various spellings of 'voice' (caps, no caps, 1st letter caps) but to no avail so far. I see from the command line when launching an O2 game that it says 'Initializing SOund System' so I was hoping that this might work if I just knew where to put these files
  17. RR is the one game that I can't seem to get to run without crashing on my JagCD. I know my JagCD may be on its' last legs but everything else will run, including burned CDs. For some reason, my JagCD fails while trying to run RR. At best, I can sometimes get the game started but it all stops soon afterwards as the CD unit no longer spins up to read the disc while playing. Carl helped me out by eliminating my copy of the CD as the cause by replacing my initial copy of RR with a new one. I am thinking about sending my JagCD off to the repair service I've seen advertised around here. However the new Jag HSC just started with Downfall being first on the list so I won't be sending my unit off anytime in the next couple of weeks. 😀
  18. I'm definitely on board with this. I think the only other cores I would love to see would be Atari 8 Bit (800xl) and Bally Astrocade. This kind of system would clean up my corner of the living room very nicely and make my wife very happy!
  19. If I had seen Kevtris' work with his list of cores as part of the campaign (and perhaps even a mock up of what a cartridge adaptor may have looked like), I may very well have bitten the bullet and taken a chance on this.
  20. Even the Microvision has its' 'one' title that can be a bit of a challenge to find and that will come at a small price - "Super Blockbuster". When I was looking to complete my Microvision set, I think I was pretty lucky in that it only took a couple of months and about $80 to find/pick this up. Is it an $80 game? Not by a long shot (and maybe I was 'had') but it did enable me to complete one system anyways. The 'non-Star Trek Branded' Phaser Strike was a bit of a challenge for me as well. I tried for Channel F for a bit, got 1-18, 21 (Bowling) and 23 (Galactic Space Wars) but have given up as there are too many left at high prices that I can't see myself going for (I do have the awesome MultiCart which is a plus). The only other system I shoot for near complete is the Jag but I know there is at least one or two games I will never get (BS and Mad Bodies) barring a miracle.
  21. <sigh> The adaptors for cartridge/FPGA use were one of my primary interests in this and it seems to be relegated to a near $4M stetch goal only, not a certainty to be part of or available for the final product. Was hoping this would automatically be part of the campaign / final product
  22. I enjoy me some Flip Out from time to time. When I first got it (when it first came out), I used to play it all the time.
