  1. I am interested in a Nomad Screen upgrade as well if it becomes available. Thanks!
  2. I detect just a tad bit of sarcasm here (and point understood, lol) but still wonder about such carts as another way to access the 2600 (or some other Atari IP) library.
  3. Any chance of seeing Atari licensing out a 2600 Core (or any other of their other platform IPs) and collection of games on a cart for this?
  4. Air Raid is in this first volume on pages 13-16
  5. Still interested. Email sent via your link. Thanks!
  6. Received my modded Lynx II today and as others have said (and it still cant be said enough) - WOW!! I can't say thanks enough to both McWill (for making this mod available) and to Busterm for hooking me up with a modded Lynx II with my screen (I wasn't about to risk destroying a Lynx II with my sub par/near non-existent soldering skills). It is nothing short of a thing of beauty to see and play the Lynx with this screen.
  7. Thanks for the video, some good tips I wasnt aware of - especially the composite to hdmi upconverter. Here are some additional options other's may be interested in: - There was an adapter, similar (in function) to the Dreamcast one shown, available for the original Xbox called the Neoya X2GVA+. I have one of these and it works really nicely. Might be tough to find these days though. - The PSP 2000 will also ouput component using that cable as well. Additonally, there is an HDMI upscaler for the PSP that works well also. I caught it on sale at Amazon for about $40 at one point in the last year but at the moment it is back up close to $90. http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PSPHD42-Connector-Converter-Up-Scaling/dp/B0038AERAI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431125345&sr=8-1&keywords=psp+hdmi Really enjoyed the other video as well (and of course, jealous of the stuff and space for it all! :-) ) Neoya X2VGA+
  8. Come join us in the high score club! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/237459-jaguar-hsc-revamped-season-7-round-12
  9. Received my copy today - very nice and fun to have. Eagerly awaiting the next three volumes of this.
  10. There's that million I knew was just waiting to appear; awesome score! Definitely know the pain of losing all (or almost all) of the build up on one certain level and how frustrating it is ending the game in that fashion.
  11. @massmatte - thanks! Looking good yourself. I exepcted to come on here and see my previous 614K beaten. I know there are at least one or two around here that can crack 1 million. @spaceyinvader - I know, no sounds stinks but first few attempts were when wife was watching TV and the T2K soundtrack doesnt mix very well with that. Lol! 775,722 - Finally a bit of the old groove back. Also remembered that when using the rotary, can use the second controller for the 'bacon' bonus level. Lost huge pile up of extra lives on 'mostly vertical'/'seems like controls are reversed' yellow web. Finally made it past it but only a web or two (level 45).
  12. Awesome to see a digital version available as well! Unfortunately for me, I dont have 1GB+ of free space on my iPad to grab it yet.
  13. 614,272 - Some improvement with sound now turned on.
  14. 541,977 - Not finding, feeling the magic this year (though it could be that so far I have been playing without sound, which I believe is probably critical once reaching the yellow level which is where I am currently losing it). My two 500k+ scores have been a struggle and with a rotary. I used to like the d-pad and in this game seems essential if one want to do the 'bacon' bonus levels (I cant do it with a rotary) although the rotary is nice on the 'sparkle/tunnel' bonus level. I've found the d-pad too slow compared to the rotary. I may make a few more attempts before the weekend is out (with sound); games take so long though.
  15. I've made several more attempts but have only been able to match the 32:06. Closest other results were a 32"12 and a 32"11. The 32"11 result happened during a run that brought my best average down to 33"84 and best average speed to 148.01.
  16. I dont know enough about these things to have any idea what it might be or mean, but is the 'development' related to that little 'winky' and if so, what does it mean? Thanks for the update Curt, looking forward to this!
  17. Yeah, I'm aware/afraid of that. I've been able to hit sub 33"00 with a bit more regularity and have duplicated the 32"06 once and have a few others sub 32"50 but seem to have hit a plateau in what I can get. Of course, that wont keep me from continuing to try.
  18. 32"71 - Have found a new strategy to the hairpin which involves coming into it full speed at the right spot and starting the right turn at just the right time to very briefly catch a little curb to slow down just a bit to reduce the amount of slide off to the left. I am thinking there might even be a way to hit this just right and rather than slide left, hug the right/inside curb thus possibly improving times more.
  19. Absolutely using the Reflex Z (frustrating too because the acceleration is not very good). I've double checked every time when I start the game up and periodically 'back out' and check to make sure I have the right bike as I make attempts. (My findings, things that work for me) No hope of making these times on a first lap, the acceleration is just too slow. Key is to build up speed in the straight-a-way prior to the starting line (which I do on the absolute/extreme edge of the right hand side, not even on the black road, but on the tan edge running beside it) and negotiating that first turn (which can be done at 160+) with little-to-no speed loss and then starting the s-curve after it soon enough so that one doesnt hit an edge in the s-curve. Also important to lay off any leaning asap coming out of any curve. After the s-curve only slight turning is necessary (depending on how one comes out of it) to negotiate the next curve; it is then possible come out of it in such a way that no turning is required until the dreaded hairpin. (It is actually possible to come out of the s-curve and get on the extreme right edge and not need to turn until the hairpin but that either requires coming through the first curve and s-curve too slowly or losing speed coming out of the s-curve during the hard crossover to the right edge.) I think what I have to figure out is finding the point prior to the hairpin to lay off the accelerator just a little bit (rather than coming into it at 160+) and finding the fastest speed one can go into it without sliding off and catching just that little bit of curb on the right hand side that is the time killer. I'm at the point where know if I have a chance immediately after I come out of the first turn (time wise) and after the hairpin; coming out of the hairpin at anytime over 23"00 and there is no chance to hit sub-33" (at least as far as I have found so far)
  20. 33"11 - I cant seem to find the full speed line through that hairpin either
