  1. The complaint here is a duplicate post - http://atariage.com/forums/topic/222829-joystick-i-wanna-buy-for-my-emulated-atari-stuff/#entry2953694 the additional thread doesn't seem necessary to me.
  2. If you need anything in terms of a prepay for both of these, just let us all here know because I suspect many of us would be willing to pre-pay for these! :-)
  3. Finally tried this out last night and all I can say is 'WOW!' - Dying to play it with sound now.
  4. I found that the key to getting into this game is getting out the back gate asap and off to retrieve the sword. Once the sword is in hand, as some one mentioned previously, it's a matter of learning the timing of your attack with it and the game becomes pretty playable and (I found) enjoyable.
  5. Will this device plus their DB9-DB15 cable connect a Jaguar w/Catbox to a computer monitor?
  6. PM sent for some of these, including the recommended PowerClutch.
  7. Rcv'd mine yesterday also - cant wait for the XM to try this out!
  8. Is there an alternate 'go to' site that members here should check into should issues ever arise here? I pray nothing ever happens to this community here as it has to be the top site (or one of the very top) sites for keeping 'Atari' alive.
  9. Does 'play until you see game over' mean play until no more continues or is the intent to just play until the very 1st game over (3 ships + any bonus ships picked up or received via score)? I've been doing the latter (using no continues) but thought it worth asking.
  10. Wow, I just can't really improve at this game. 135,960
  11. The hugest mistake I've made is not buying up cheap Jag stuff when it was possible; it's taken a lot more $$ than I care to mention just to get most of the common releases.
  12. Ok, a real - DOH! - moment - I have had exactly what I need all this time - feeling kind of stupid at the moment for not realizing it: I already have a power strip with individual on/off switches.
  13. One of the problems I tend to have with classic computers/consoles is with the power switch being located on the back of the unit, making it a bit of a pain to reach behind to turn them on/off because the units are typically on shelves against a wall or in a entertainment center. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what kind of solution have you come up with? I could plug everything into a single power strip, leave the consoles 'on' and then just flip the power strip button, but in my imagination I have this idea that perhaps somewhere there is a small product that one could plug a single cord into with an on/off switch that plugs in, providing a more accessible on/off switch for these consoles with the switch on the back.
  14. I haven't seen or thought of that game in such a long time! Going to have to dig it out.
  15. So with the Jag, will the Catbox + the Ambery device + the special Ambery Cable they mention on the same page get the Jag directly connected to a typical VGA computer monitor? Is the display difference noticeably better than s-video? Thanks.
  16. My Jag / Jag CD / and CatBox are all original, at time of release, items. My 2600 JR I believe is from about 1986.
