Thanks for sharing that! I am still looking for a copy of the RCA Studio II Ads that showed up in the Tv Guide when it was first released. Those ads were the first time I ever saw/heard of video games that could be played on a TV. I remember wanting the RCA Studio II becuase of those ads. It wouldnt be until 30+ years after seeing them that I finally acquired one.

Atari Flashback 4 Review
mckafka99 replied to Bill Loguidice's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
You know that there was going to be one of us here that was going to reply with "I like 3D Tic Tac Toe". :-) Actually, I only posted this because though I never really play this very often either, I did happen to give it a few rounds once within the last couple of months. -
You could post a price for each, have everyone who is interested submit an intent to purchase and then just do a draw of the hat - those drawn get to purchase. I, for one would be interested in just the sticker overlay for the controller. All these items look great!

The 'Ordering Information' page (http://members.tcq.net/video61/ordering.html) does say they take PayPal. (Sorry about the duplicate info).

Does anyone here use xport emulation for colecovision
mckafka99 replied to Jordiway's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I have used it in the past and liked it, especially given how much I didn't care for the actual ColecoVision controllers but since I got one of the AtariMax carts and had my console transformed into a YurkiVision, I haven't used it in a while. Still nice to hear it's receiving updates. -
One of the things I loved and spent a lot of time with on Jag CD was the VLM. I spent a lot of time listening to Pink Floyd through it trying to manipulate the designs to the mood of the music; even made a VCR recording of at least one of the albums (cant recall which one right now). So games aside, the JagCD was a great interactive device.

Just picked this bundle up for my daughter for xmas - no worries though about getting her into some classic gaming; this morning I had her playing Zool 2 on the Jag. :-)

Williams Arcade's Greatest Hits
mckafka99 replied to Jess Ragan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I think you'll find his most recent posts in those threads dealing with Atari's Greatest Hits for IOS. -
That's what I have; box, cart and styro inserts but no manual. I figure its a long shot finding a loose manual for this.

Looking for an original copy of the Microvision Phaser Strike - Non Star Trek version manual to put with the 'almost' CIB version I just picked up. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Looking for a tabletop pinball suggestion or two.
mckafka99 replied to Reaperman's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Finally got around to picking up another Duo controller and 8 Bitty. Removed buttons from old 8 bitty so I could get at the small wires and circuit board to wire up the Duo left/right flippers. Mounted the 8 Bitty controller under the Duo with Velcro and voila, Pinball Arcade with proper left/right flippers and it makes it even more awesome then it already is. I didn't take the time to try to figure a way to wire up the plunger, but almost doesn't seem necessary; having side mounted flipper buttons in a controller that fits in the lap accomplishes my goal. It's a real shame the the Duo Games and the Pinball Arcade folks didnt make the products compatible; the controller has a nice feel and the PA games are really good - seems like a natural fit. Also, it works really nice with the Zacharia Pinball Master Edition app which allows one to customize iCade controls. -
sorry about that, guess I didn't scroll down enough to see it.

One more vote for the 3dsxl. Allows for the choice to use 3d or not. I've seen my daughter adjust the 3d when she doesnt want it and also to whatever level she wants it.

Not to derail this thread from Pinball Arcade (which I love and have all the tables), but there is also another fantasic (IMHO) IOS pinball app called Zaccaria Master Edition which has the Zaccaria manufacturer (http://www.zaccaria-pinball.com/) tables. I've found these tables to be a lot harder to play but still great. One of the best elements of this collection is that not only is iCade supported, the controls are customizable, allowing one to define which button to use for what; e.g, on my 8-Bitty controller, Ive mapped both flippers to the shoulder buttons.

Glad you got your items. I saw on the link sections for items purchased "off ebay" and thought maybe they might apply. I'm going onto almost 2 weeks waiting on an item myself with absolutely no feedback from a seller despite attempts to just get an update. For all of the items I've bought off ebay in the last year, this is the longest I've gone without any kind of feedback (let alone a shipment) of a purchased item; so far for me, almost everything has shown up in under 7 days or at the very least have had feedback about shipping times.

Atari Inc. - Business Is Fun Now Available!
mckafka99 replied to Albert's topic in Gaming Publications and Websites
I have both a physical copy and the Apple iBooks version -
I found mine (French Version) on eBay in the U.S. Just an fyi on it though, while it will play in a U.S. Microvision conosle, it is a sort of tight/odd fit (at least in the 2 U.S. consoles I have). Fits perfect in the European model console of course.

Wasn't Rayman on the Jag before any other console? Or at least it was originally developed for the Jag before others?

What one-of-a-kind Intellivision items do you have?
mckafka99 replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
While the Intellivoice isn't one of a kind, I suspect that the check that was in this compete set is! :-) (Got set on Ebay for $20.). -
You should be able to leave the JagCD attached, no game cd disc in, and pop in a game cartridge and play. Double check and make sure the JagCD is securely attached to the Jag game slot. Every once in a while I will get the Jag Red screen when I use a game cartridge in the cd game cartridge slot but usually find re-seating the JagCD fixes the problem.
