Also the Wico newest Pro I picked up still has some issues but the seller tells me the 2 he has both worked flawlessly - I'm picking up some spray contact cleaner tomorrow at Rat Shack and will find out if it's just dirty contacts... At 1 time I bought up a whole lot of original 9" Macs - was going to start building MACQUARIUMS but never got around to it. I think I have 8 or 9 of them - some with original KB & Mouse and some work fine. I have Mac 512's, Mac SE's Mac Classic and Classic II's, etc. They're so cool looking - right now they're stored in a closet but someday they'll see the light of day! Some I paid $1.00 for on Ebay. One 512 has original everything and boots up fine with an original system disc - when I removed the cover it has all the original signatures inside the case of the Apple Staff oncluding JOBS and WOZ.

Good info though - it'll help - seems a shame it was never released... course it seems a shame the 5200 was buried the same year. Gotta kinda wait for it to pass or time it right to go underneath them. Really though DON"T FALL! You'll always hit the bat or a frog on your way down if you fall. This game takes alot of patience. Don't fall? so I gotta climb down the ladders?

I'm stuck 5 mins into pitfall 2 - After swimming - when going down the multiple holes (falling) I keep hitting that damn bat! What's the secret to that?

since getting my MultiCart and burning LOADS OF ROMS - I now SO FAR like SUPER COBRA, WIZARDS OF WAR, ZONE RAIDERS and the usual biggies my wife and I both have loved since the 80's - JOUST, PacMan/Ms PacMan, CENTIPEDE, Miner 2049'er, RS Baseball (Yeah Baby - the computer still whipping me bad though)... I'm trying to figure out RESCUE ON FRACTALUS, STAR RAIDERS, etc but I'm Italian and OLD to boot so I'm terrible at fast Keypad/Joystick operations - I'm a SPAZ I remember playing RESCUE on my 800XL (or was it my ST?). Like the Graphics in Buck Rogers and Beamrider too but the games ain't that great... I also LOVE my Wico Command Controller and Wico Keypad. Just bought a Wico Competition Pro but it needs tweaking or something (will experiment more this weekend) - might buy another competition pro as I found another one for cheap! Although I like the feel of the command controller better (not as tight).

My Package arrived SAFE & SOUND thanks to Steve @ AtariMax. Was told flashing probably wouldn't work on my Mac but I wanted to test it out using Virtual PC 7 on my 20" iMac (it is running XP Pro - just slow as it is an emulator but actually owned by Microsoft) mine is strictly POWER PC - not Intel so I can't boot into Windows like the newer Mac's can. I hooked it up - installed the software - Windows found the new hardware and installed everything fine. I burned 1 ROM (Star Raiders) - Voila' - worked Like BUTTER! Figured I'd test out a couple more - LIKE BUTTER - threw 4 at once at it - NO PROBLEMS! I'm sure if I tried to throw 125 at it at once I may have issues but so far so good. I flashed on my 1st GEN 20" IMAC (1.8 GHZ w/1 gig ram) running OS X 10.5. IT WORKS. Will probably hook up one of my PC's tomorrow night and burn em all at once - or maybe not as I HATE PC's with a passion I can try to do 10 next time and see what happens. Every time I load the .MCW catalog and add to it does it only burn the new ones or does it do them all again? Just wondering. BURNING ROMS ON A MAC WORKS so far and no INTEL machine here - straight PPC. Yippee. I was told the same stuff about burning DREAMCAST CD's (ROMS) - but am waiting for my new Dreamcast to get here and am going to figure it out on my Mac as I have a lot of burning Apps and did find some instructions for Mac burning on an old Forum Post I got from GOOGLE as well as a forum where there are 100's of roms. controller wise I can tell you the WICO sticks RULE! I have a WICO Command Console stick with the Wico Keypad that's schaweeeeet. I got 1 from Ebay with the Wico keypad (the joystick with a Y-Cord - usually included with the stick - works too and allows you to plug in a regular 5200 controller for keypad functions such as START, PAUSE, RESET , number pad, etc). The Keypad looked MINT but the joystick had issues... thank God for "ninermaniac" here in the forums who sold me a mint Wico CC stick to go with my keypad - it works like new and everything is more enjoyable. I also just bought a Wico Competition Pro 5200 stick (with Y-cord too) from another Ebay seller (hasn't arrived yet). The WICO sticks are self-centering too. I may be trading ninermaniac the Competition Pro stick for one of his "custom made" 5200 paddle controllers and I already have a line on another Competition Pro stick for myself. I usually go through and with an eraser and a solution of alchohol & water clean the flex circuits and buttons on the Atari joysticks we have as my wife loves her ORIGINAL 5200 joysticks. Cleaning them makes em work like "butter" again. Just bought one of the WINDOW DEFOGGER REPAIR KITS to use on the 5200 sticks too - the metallic solution in the kit is supposed to work as good as the Gold Fire Button kits - will rebuild a couple tonight (we have about 7 or 8 5200 joysticks) and report back how that works...

Have a couple right now - I refurbish the controllers (clean them internally with alcohol and an eraser) - they work great - all buttons functional and the fire buttons work like "BUTTA" - will throw in a few games too w/PS and Switchbox - I want a working 7800 system!! You can PM me.

I'm collecting again - what's the BEST? Opinions Welcomed! Right now I'm hooked on GYRUSS and RS BASEBALL. Soon as my MultiCart gets here that might change thanks to all the ROMS i have to test.
