  1. As far as I know, it always came with a box. Perhaps 3DO Direct sold it without a box at one point, but I have never heard of the Game Guru being offered without the outer box/sleeve.

BTW, this only refers to the US version. The EU release may have been released as a standalone double jewel case without a box.

  2. Many of the box protector vendors offer oddball sizes like this Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventure box protector:

Limited Run Games also has a number of box protectors:

There's likely a custom protector for another title that's close enough in size to fit WMCJ.

  3. I've been playing Animal Crossing: City Folk because I can pick up and play for short bursts collecting fossils, reorganizing my furniture, and other relaxing stuff. And I can stop or pause while I tend to other garbage in my life without issue unlike the online games my friends and family often play.

The GameCube version of AC might be more up your alley since it's technically older and it has retro NES games in the game.

  4. Although I haven't signed into AA in ages, I have been reading the forums regularly.

I'm signing back on because I'm looking to unload some stuff.

  5. I was quite pleased with the selection. Unfortunately, my old PS1 (had a Diablo sticker on it) wasn't going to work. I'm glad the PS2 will play them...tried them all and they are all in GREAT shape. Someone really knew how to take care of their games...hardly a scratch on any one of them. It's good to see that there are those that prize their games enough to be careful with them...unlike my stepson, who loved to leave them out of their cases all around the place, label side down and a drink sitting on them as if they were a coaster. :(

You're lucky. All I ever seem to find is loose and filthy games at my local fleas and thrifts. Except, of course, those countless boxed copies of Madden and Tiger Woods. Yes, those are the ones they saved the cases for.
