  2. I never played the original Phantasy Star, so I have to choose between Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior. And I choose Final Fantasy, hands down. It had great music, awesome weapons, cool spells, AIRSHIPS, and the different character classes to choose from. I fondly remember one summer where my friend and I would take turns leveling up the party. As for Dragon Warrior, for whatever reason, I found it boring and bland by comparison.
  3. It's true. People are stupid. I've seen Microsoft Points and PSN cards sell for MORE than retail on eBay.
  4. I sold him some manuals. He replied quickly and paid right away.
  5. Why did I convince my boss to buy a Keurig for the break room instead of this?
  6. I probably haven't played one-third of what's left of my collection. Those are the sealed titles and games I never got around to trying. Of course, there are some titles that I've played for countless hours like Alien Crush, Chopper Command, and Klax.
  7. Some new items, including a copy of Burning Rangers.
  8. Props to the poster for trying this. I attempted this at least once, but I had to relinquish the TV to my folks. I think I did five or six dungeons in that one session.
  9. is now using the Asteroids avatar

  10. I am the same way. I buy large rolls of bubble wrap from Sams Club, and buy boxes from u-line for anything that does not ship Priority. I buy in bulk so it is not so expensive. Yes it adds a few cents to box like this, but it is well worth it to me. I know I appreciate it when I receive an item that was packaged with care. Me too. I always ensure that I have the proper packing before listing my items. The problem is that many people, like the person that sent that PS2, lack simple consideration for others.
  11. Any chance it could be Grand Slam VIII?
  12. Great game. If you liked Super Off-Road, I'd suggest .
  13. Yes, I've been disappointed so far. It seems like the library has lots of ports. I mean, I liked MLB, Hot Shots, and WipeOut, but I can play them on PlayStation 3.
  14. Welcome and good luck with your Jag collection!
  15. Did you read the same article as everybody else? It was pretty much bilge with some system specs plonked in the middle... Excluding the technical information it was about as informative as Page 3 of The Sun newspaper. "Charmaine, 23, from Lincolshire, thinks 64 is bigger than 32.". Yes, I read the same article. Was it lacking in journalistic quality? Yes, but it mentioned the CD-ROM, the price, some tech specs, and a list of games. I happen to think Atari had a decent product. Look at games like AVP, Doom, and Rayman and tell me that the Jag couldn't compete with the 3DO, Genesis, and SNES at $250. The problem was that Atari didn't have the titles or marketing muscle to put the Jag in a position to compete. They lacked big name games and the necessary third-party support. I mean, what was going to sell? Sonic CD, Starfox, and Super Mario All-Stars or Checkered Flag, Tiny Toon Adventures, or Trevor McFur?
  16. Thanks for the post! It shows once again that Atari had a nice console at a nice price, but lacked the big-name, mass-market games.
  17. Here's a little bit of perspective: This article from EGM states that Battlefield 3 was the only EA title to hit the five million mark last year.
  18. Xevious was my favorite Atari 7800 game. I bought a 7800 console just to play it.
