  1. Yeah, I thought I was going to be OK with the RF on the 7800. I mean, the RF on my Intellivision and on my heavy sixer are fine. But no, the RF on the 7800 is different in all sorts of shitty ways day to day. It's just garbage...which is exactly why I am having it modded soon for composite. I just can't deal with it anymore to be honest.
  2. I don't recall seeing Jaguars slashed in price. They were just one day "gone". Maybe I was late to the clearance party But, I do recall 7800's being clearanced. I walked into my local Child World one day and there was two pallets of them....maybe 80 or more....with a big sign for $5 each. I picked up four brand new boxed 7800's that day for $20 plus tax.
  3. I think if I had to do that I would do the same thing. I sold so many Jaguars (and Jag CD units) over the course of the past few decades and now I am still luckily graced with one good working Jag console. I just can't part with it for any reason now simply because I feel the time has really come where if I get rid of this one I may never be able to acquire one ever again. I have already ruled out ever obtaining the CD unit again.... the prices are truly absurd. And the original post starter is right. The homebrews for this thing right now are truly sweeet!
  4. That is GREAT! Thanks for everybody's contributions on this! I will test with v16 and then v17 and report back
  5. Now the question is, why does the dump look strange on a 2600 Jr.? UNO-Cart specific issue? Maybe SD card used? It's good to know that the voltages look OK on the sixer, so not a power issue I assume. All of this testing has me itchy to test mine, Come on postal service!
  6. What a strange thing. My UNO cart is set to arrive to me on Saturday so I am very curious to see if mine is the same way. Now I wonder if it is a power issue (lack of power from the cart port) if there may exist an internal system mod to increase it.
  7. Just conducted a nice trade with Jesse, and now he's doing work on my consoles! Superb fellow with vast vintage console knowledge and a pleasure to converse with! I am sure many future dealings are to follow!
  8. A gentleman through and through. Many dealings with him over the years and always a pleasure!
  9. Two controllers in great working condition. One is missing the joystick port cover on top (you would take the cover off to daisy chain controllers). One of these was NOS and opened by me (and used only a few times). The box and documentation/CD is included in that box as well. $40 shipped takes them.
  10. I think it has been a few years at least since I have done this. Large priority mail box filled with "stuff" guaranteed to be worth more than what the cost is. I do this on occasion to clear out random (but cool) things I have around here. Vintage console and vintage PC related items, toys, random odds and ends...all good and fun stuff. Stuff that you may be able to use, or trade. Maybe something uncommon or even rare! You never know what will be inside of the box, unless you buy it of course! Large flat rate box will be packed with as much stuff as it can handle...with adequate packing of course $80 shipped.
  11. Congrats. Nice Sony TV by the way. The picture looks great. I have a Wega myself, but I have always preferred bubble tube sets myself. I also like how PAL Jag's have a green light. Looks so inviting as opposed to our angry red light we got here in the USA
  12. Now $70 shipped. I don't think I am going to go much lower than this as I really don't NEED to sell it. I am just trying to obtain funds for some upgrade work for some of my consoles and figured someone might want this nifty relic to compliment their collection. It looks a LOT better in person than in the pictures, I promise you that!
  13. You've done so much to the board thus far (congrats on the cart connector replacement...I wish I had the tools to do that!) and you may have hit the nail on the head regarding the crystals. Why not just go ahead and replace them? Best has them and they are relatively inexpensive: http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/custom-i.htm
  14. Perfect. I will report back my results as soon as it arrives. Thank you for helping look into this!
  15. Ohh, question. I will have to use my 7800 to flash this initially with this dumper firmware if the cart does not work at all (or reacts the same) in the heavy sixer. What do I do after if after it is flashed and I bring it over to the heavy sixer if I don't see a menu (or anything but bars) on step 2? I guess I would have to do this blindly on the heavy sixer I assume?
  16. Thanks! I actually sent my UnoCart to MacRorie to update the firmware as I had an old firmware in which I could not update from SD. The cart is in the mail on the way back to me now (Thanks MacRorie!) and if it does not work in this heavy sixer when it arrives I will use this dumper and let you know!
  17. Purchased this as a spare as Zoom is all the thing apparently now and the primary way to conduct meetings at my job. But I ended up with another HD-5000 lifecam as well as a work laptop with an integrated camera. These sale trend on ebay for $90, and I know all too well how difficult it has been to obtain a good (ie: brand name) webcam. Brand new sealed. $65 shipped. **SOLD**
  18. It's got to first get to the post office in order to get to the point of affecting delivery In any case, issue resolved. Can I ask a mod to please lock this thread?
  19. I really like this game. The first time I ever played it however was in Windows 95. There was a Win95 version of this way back when and I had a blast playing it. Then I played it on multiple systems including the Jag. I still own the Jaguar version and while it appears to be a direct port with no real "64-bit" upgrades, it is still a great game that I am glad to own. As for framerate, I had no clue either or. It played well on everything I played it on... I never noticed anything back in those days nor do I now.
  20. Easy peasy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G6T7UBG/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A2GCGCQ51SQVD9&psc=1
  21. Received a superb modded Atari 5200 from Shawn. Packaged extremely well it arrived in perfect condition and works so sooo well! Quality is certainly the word to use here when it comes to Shawn's goods. I never hesitate when he has someone I want, and neither should you!
  22. I never said that. You have the respect of the community and that is good enough for me. I just wish there were a bit of communication is all. If you had said you were busy and didn't have an eta I would have been fine with that. It was because you said it would ship on Monday (two Mondays ago) that I was expecting to see something in the mail. If it could not ship that day or even that week all I would have needed to have been satisfied is a friendly email saying so. Instead I have been looking out for a package this whole time. In any case, no hard feelings.
