    Sometimes I wish I had a time machine to go back to the 80's. For me it was an idealistic time of no kids, no worries, no commitments, and endless time to do whatever I wanted. There was also something about seeing "READY" on the screen that just begged me to be creative and spend sleepless nights writing "just one more line" of a program. The start menu just isn't the same.

      "Sometimes"? For me it's every day. The '80s were such a magical time. The future was limitless and computers were magical. Sigh.

      Yes, magical. The 80s mixed the old with the new. The old was still useful and the new was accepted. Best decade ever.

      Things WERE more colorful then. Compare advertisements. The fonts in text were also more pleasant too.
