Did I mention my 2 "big" dogs. Well, ok, that was a lie, I have 2 shi-tzu's, I don't think they'll give you any trouble.....
I have some "friends" that are going to work on getting my Jag 2 working, I'll post any success on Jag II and here.

Hey LinkoVitch. I'm lucky enough to have a Jaguar II proto that I picked up from Clint Thompson. Mine isn't working (at the moment), but I hope to fix that soon. I also have an extra Tom II Chip as well as an extra Midsummer Chip. Good stuff! The tech reference manual looks awesome, but I of course printed it at work and forgot to bring it home. Oh well, tomorrow night for sure....

You have to hold down the "A" or "C" key on the joypad (if memory serves) and then it says "Erasing Flash Cart", then on the computer it starts transferring the program and shows each byte as it transfers. After it is done it tells you transfer successful. I think that's it. Been a while since I dumped to my Flash, I usually use my Alpine.
You plug them into the Jaguar, hook them up to the parallel port on your computer with cable, turn on Jaguar and dump the ROM onto it using the "FLASH" program. Hope this helps.

Hi LinkoVitch,
I bought a couple of these from Bradley at BEST some time back. Both of mine were Trevor McFur as well. One doesn't work properly, but the other works great. Interesting....he must have quite a stock of these...

Not a bad idea. I'd still like to protect the boxes, but it's probably not worth the $$$ to do both. Either way, I think its a good idea and the collectors will like it.
Ok, I'm going out of the box a little on this, but would it be possible to make a clear case that holds a boxed game? All my jaguar games are complete in the boxes so I wouldn't be interested in a case, but I'd sure like to protect games like BS and BS Gold. Thanks.

Hi LinkoVitch, you may not want to waste the time on soldering those cybermorph chips onto the card. These sell for next to nothing on e-bay. Snag one for yourself there.

Personally I like B2K. If you're a fan of the old Breakout games you'll enjoy it. It's much more fun when playing with someone else, it adds a nice element. It's worth $50.

It also boots with Battlesphere GOLD. The game is quite fun, even in the alpha stage. It's amazing to think how good this game could have been if it was completed. Clint is also working on a number of very unique projects that should be exciting for the entire Atari community!

I felt obligated to tell this guy these weren't protos (assuming he is honest nad not the scammer here). We'll see if he changes the descriptions.

What a bummer on your Jag CD Lars.... I remember the spindles breaking off my Playstation as well and I'm thinking I'll need to buy another one. But alas, it still is working great years later.... When I was selling off returned Jag CD inventory, of 75 I sold I would say half needed some "simple" things done to get them to work. 5 of them I never could get to work and sold off cheap....
Don't do any clipping. There are 2 screws underneath the label that you can't see that will hold it together regardless. You would have to poke a screwdriver through the label to unscrew these in order to get into the cart, thus ruining your label. The rattling shouldn't be effecting the gameplay and giving you the red screen. You may need to clean your cart port of your Jaguar. What game is it?
