Thanks again! Almost 40ks, that's really good Ron... 39ks , which is only about 8ks from the old record. When you hit around 48ks, the centipede reaches the bottom of the screen quick, and it multiplies much faster! I lost my last life getting hit by a new centipede, not the spider. I played using the 5200 stock controller. Never used a Trak-Ball yet, besides at the arcades. Wow, the stock controller?!! That's DOUBLY impressive.My Trak-Ball really got a workout this time. It was like the arcade, but in my lap...and no quarters Back in the day I only ever managed about 22k, although not bad for being 11,..with a limited budget! Most of my coins went into games I was good at like Mr. Do!, Dig-Dug, and Galaga; Ahh, the memories...

Starting to get a little more cozy with the Trak-Ball. My strategy of spider avoidance is making this more enjoyable. Also, I've quit going out of my way to shoot those 'bomber-fleas'. They're a distraction that mainly get you killed, unless your lined up dead center while firing. 28,163

Centipede is a little too flippin' hard to be all that enjoyable...which is why I had to dig deep into a big dusty box of old cables and assorted computer junk to find the cartridge, 'cause it aint on the flash-cart! Millipede is 10 times better, and 100 times more fun !! It also seems to have a much more sensitive response from the Trak-Ball than Centipede, which is a bit loose and sloppy. 18,419

I would say you did pretty darn good J-zu-zu, breaking 9K!! This is the tricky "tie-fighter" inspired ship that also put me away. There is also one that looks similar to the Millenium Falcon. I had to quit because my left arm was in pain I'm gonna need the arcade style Starcon joystick to give this game proper treatment...anybody have one of those rascals for sale ?

I died on the Diamond I've taken it out as Dread #2, but when it's 4-up, so much crap is coming at you such that without the 'force'...you're doomed! There is a 'tie-fighter' shaped ship that I've yet to take out no matter what order I get it. The silos are so well guarded, you have to destroy nearly every target to get near them. I don't remember seeing the 'tuning fork' shaped one yet. Maybe when I blast past 10K it will show up... 8,177

It will take a bit of doing, plus an iron wrist to handle the long term repetitive firing/bombing (using original controller). 6,292

Solved Diamondz! Some very tricky final screens Didn't quite crack 2K in Diamonds yet : 1,964 lv 6 The footy game never quite worked out for me. I played one lv 1, ten min game and it ended 0-19 ?! This dismal experience(Thorn EMI) made me long for RealSports Soccer, like nothing ever could. At least it (RSS), is somewhat intuitive. I've never been a fan of video sports games, with exception to the oustanding RealSports Baseball, and then Realsports Tennis, occasionally with two players. Now off to whoop trbb and scalak at Boulderdash II......YEAH RIGHT!!

Nice version of Asteroids with far better controls than the original A52 prototype. I still don't have this one yet(one of the last ones to collect!), but luckily there is the trusty 'ol Atarimax for OE play 6,340
