That's not a bad idea. That could be an easy solution to clear up this mess. I'd like to hear from atariron82 and see if he would be ok with this or not. Or i could just have a asterisk next to our season 3 champion saying that he was banned. It will be fine for me to take the reigns as "acting Champion" (by default), since our favourite foe's meteoric rise was cut short due to his "reign of terror" in other forums. Such irony! It appears that TRBB has already removed atariski/Divya from the most recent Season's tally, pending a minor revolt over at the A8-bit HSC. With that as precedent, it should be appropriate for us to do the same. He was the one I tried hardest to beat and admit to having certain Outbursts of Joy following his defeat(s) at the hands of Zylon(and others). His stratospheric high scores will be missed. As for Divya, he and I seemed equally matched, and it's a shame that he will no longer be able to post. A bit of the competitive element will be lost, but hopefully not for long. Maybe one or both can return someday with privileges renewed. PS: If we go the full 27 rnds like last season, there's a good chance that I and/or roadrunner, will have passed the current championship spot in any case. (Edited to remove speculative language)

Got in just under the wire!: 5,514

30,700 stage 5 A nice little game, but by the 5th stage, the course is nearly un-navigable. If the penguin is going fast enough to complete the stage, avoiding crevasses and seals is a real trick. The grade/curve of the ice constantly forces you into obstacles and the resistance to movement makes the way even tougher. As far as catching a flag or two...good luck! Points are already pretty sparse in the game and if you are going slow enough to get them, you won't make it to the Ice Station, unless of course you're going flat-out and a fish/flag just happens to hit you in the face. Kudos to jblenlke for his dominating high score. He deserves a Gold Patch for sticking with it through 93 stages...Unbelievable !

I don't think the image is blurry, it's just overexposed due to flash. The luminescence of your monitor is all the light you need for a good screen shot. Try reducing lights and turn your flash "off". You should get a bright, colorful image, plus you'll save battery power

By the way Prodos8, your Masterplay-clone is the slickest gadget since the original MP-Interface, and still going strong! Luckily I have a few wico y-cables to work with. A 'knock-off' y-cable would certainly open up the market for yours and other potential 5200 controller adapters.

Atariksi, Your pictures seem to be suffering from a case of "way-too-much-backgroundlight-itis". How can we enjoy your other-worldly superhuman scores(like your current DK!), if they are awash in a glare replete with smudged fingerprints and dust patches? So.. hit the lights, turn off the bloody flash, aim square and Snap! It usually works about 99.6% of the time .

I was shooting for 500K, but it all ended on Night 105: 469,641

Everything is pitch-black at this level, except when the lightning flashes for a second. I made it past the cemetary for a life boost, but got killed by unseen monsters on the way back: Lev. 9- 3,375

It was 4, though I didn't know that was max. I thought there might be a bonus mario at 60k or some higher score. If I was going for a total it's more like 20+ marios lost at that screen

I've seen the candlesticks and keys spawn also out of nowhere just by leaving and re-entering a room. The truth remains shrouded in mystery.....
